Excuse me if this has already been posted.

This is absolutely a MUST SEE video from Iran television.

Go to site and follow the link to "Can Hillary Win?"

The conversation moves to Ron Paul and is fascinating, thanks to John Mappin.

You will love this.

Not surprisingly, Iran seems to be pro Ron Paul also. I expect an endorsement from President Ahmadinejad anyday

another great write up of the story (emphasis mine):

The news program was presented by the internationally recognised and acclaimed celebrity news journalist Yvonne Ridley whose program “The Agenda” had decided to feature and showcase a song dedicated to Ron Paul by John Mappin - released by Camelot Castle in England, as part of the show.

The big deal imo is not only the tv show, but the fact that John Mappin wrote the song for Ron Paul, unless i'm missing something?

There is a video attached of a political talk show "The Agenda". There is a pretty good Ron Paul segment starting at minute 24:00. An interesting video of Ron Paul, I haven't seen yet, looks like YouTube production, but completely unknown. There is one sickening neo-con in the panel, you'll know pretty quickly who he is.

I agree, that'd be the great trick of it. It's FOR Ron Paul. The song is very fantsy pants, someone should make a different video for it though.

This is the video and song, without the Iranian show:

Interesting video, made by the the John Mappin guy (the one in jeans). I guess he is a newspaper publisher in London and has been following the campaign and decided to do a yoiutube video in support.

no just do your thing and write them - he actually did say he did not know who Ron Paul really was well lets tell him will send a letter now. (I watched the whole thing not bad but funny to think that that talk alot like our round tables but in a much more respectful manner --interesting might have to watch more thanks)

I hope this does not represent the level of understanding about American politics in the international media. These people are clueless. The bald guy is just plain arrogant. And the RP supporter can't even articulate why Paul is popular. He even said he had no problems w/ Hillary! Perhaps they are blinded by their own socialism.

I think you have to understand that the show was not intended to discuss Ron Paul.

When they first began speaking about the internet, the host said not to mention names!

Then after the usual suspects were discussed, she directly asked Mappin and showed his whole song piece video. Those other guys, one in particular, was squirming all over the place and one was obviously trying to indicate Paul was a joke, etc. I think their plan was to promote the "frontrunners" in sort of a backdoor way.

Mappin was delighted when the conversation started taking the Paul direction as it did!

The host was the one who drove it in that direction. Wonder why? :)

about the people worried about them calling him a leftie, don't forget these people drive on the left side of the road and their steering wheels are on the left side.

Seriously to the world our right wing is their left wing.

I think it is cute that the Ron Paul revolution is brining out political novices that don't know this yet :) Thank goodness we are all learning so much about our history and world history from Ron Paul.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-right_politics

Originally, the defining point on the ideological spectrum was attitudes towards the ancien régime ("old order"). "The Right" thus implied support for aristocratic, royal, or clerical interests, while "The Left" implied opposition to the same. At that time, support for laissez-faire capitalism and free markets were regarded as being on the left whereas today in most Western countries these views would be characterized as being on the Right; the earlier "left-wing" politicians were advocates of laissez faire capitalism[citation needed] and the "right-wing" politicians opposed it, until the early nineteenth century when anti-capitalism gained favour among the leftists due to the rise of socialism. Despite this, the left-controlled French National Convention decreed numerous economic interventions during the Revolution, including price controls (enforced under penalty of death),[15] forced loans on those with incomes exceeding 1000 livres, and the abolishment of the Paris Stock Exchange and all joint-stock companies.[16]

After saying that Ron Paul would never win, and that his supporters would not turn out the vote because they are from the internet he then went on to admit that he knew nothing about Ron Paul.

It is painfully obvious that the bald guy is talking out of his ass.

You will find in life, that the people that are most sure of themselves rarely are the most informed.

The bald guy states his opinion as fact by speaking with much confidence. But in reality he does not know what he is talking about.

I hate these type of people. They shove their verbal diarrhea in everyones face, negating everyones opinion in the room, even when the opinion comes from a person that has researched the topic more.
