For Christmas this year you can give Ron Paul the gift of even more volunteers in New Hampshire! There are 5 of us planning on heading up from Maryland to New Hampshire from January 2nd through January 9th to support him up to the primary! We are all college students so we are unable to afford the trip and we're sacrificing our jobs for the week to head up so the only way we can afford to go is if the generous RP community can support us! We have a chipin linked below that will help us get there! Merry Christmas and thanks to anyone who can help out!

http://olfdtrip.chipin.com/live-free-or-die-trip

Thanks!

Budget:
Cost of 4 plane tickets - $773
Cost of 2 Car Rentals for 6 Days - $340
Cost of Food/Drink - ~$200
-----------------
Total - ~$1300

I just filled out an on-line volunteer form for live free or die project saying I'd be able to go up from jan 1 til jan 9. I would need housing so I guess I have to wait to hear back from someone, anyone know whether I should expect a response before or after Christmas? I only realized today that I'd be able to go to NH and help out if I can, so part of me wonders if they'll want me since I'm arriving so late in the game.

Yes, I'm pretty sure they want everyone they can get! They should respond to you in the next couple of days. If you goto the OLFD forum you can probably make more direct contact.

I think I remember reading somewhere that they were having to turn volunteers away because they have so many already.

Untrue. That was the official campaign and OLFD stepped in to say they needed help! I've already talked to the OLFD people!

How much do you think you need? do you have a budget in mind?

The plan is for 5 of us to fly to New Hampshire

Rent 2 cars

Pay for all of our food/drink for ourselves so as not to put extra strain on the OLFD operation

and contribute whatever we can to OLFD to go towards the cost of housing

So it may actually cost more than what the chipin is, but we'll pick up the rest - if anyone can contribute anything we'd appreciate it.

Yes. I got a free round trip ticket from him for me. The other 4 purchased round trip tickets (cost quoted in OP).

To me it sounds like giving some students
a Christmas present rather than Ron Paul.

So what exactly will your support look like,
what are your and your friends concrete plans?

Hi,

We are locked in for January 4th. When we arrive we will be renting 2 cars and heading to one of the OLFD houses (haven't received confirmation on which yet) and spending every waking moment up until after the NH primary is over to work for helping Ron Paul. And it is a present for him because what better present than to get him elected??
