A $21 million dollar quarter would beat every single other republican for the best fundraising quarter this year. Romney has led all republicans to date with a Q1 of $20.7 million and his Q2 was $20.1 million.

Thus we need to raise $21 million to be able to say we have had the best quarter of all republicans!

I agree, also, I think Hillary Clinton raised 21 million last quarter . . .

Hillary will raise less in Q4 than she did in Q3. Most primary fundraising is smallest in the 4th quarter historically.

$21 million would be great, but I'd love to see people support Operation New Hampshire.

Guys, nobody really cares about fundraising records at this point. It's all about Iowa, votes and polls in the eyes of the Media. Just go and talk to somebody and get their vote.

I gotta say I like the MLK moneybomb as far as next big fundraiser but as well we need to support the various grassroots projects.

I second that. New Hampshire is one of THE most important states for us.

Romney only raised that much because he lent him self it. He has a few billion in the bank whats 7 mill to your campaign to make it look like awsome numbers

I totally agree that we have got to raise at least $20 million by Dec. 31st.

I was saying this at least 2 or 3 times after the 16th, when everyone on here was yapping about having another moneybomb in January. I kept saying --

WE HAVE GOT TO CONCENTRATE ON RAISING $20 MILLION BY THE END OF THIS QUARTER.

It is extremely important.

We have got to have another mini-moneybomb, even though it's getting late.

If Ron wins Iowa, we surely will have the biggest
Moneybomb in this decade anyway. But to get the
name out is the most important thing. (ALSO in
terms of getting new donors, of course).

Does anyone have figures that compare past Q4 numbers to Q3 numbers? What is the typical percentage of increase between the two quarters for the leading candidates?

All right then let's make it 25 million. I'm bound to get some Christmas money, I'll put some of it toward saving the Republic.

Why? Why is it so important? ((Does all-caps, increasing the size of the font and bolding it somehow make it more important?))

We made our point on Dec16. Hitting or missing 20 Mil isn't going to make a bit of difference at this point.

Spend your money on grassroots now.

$20 M isn't that much of a bump from where we are now. There will only be a couple members of the $20M club this quarter. Having Ron be the only Repulican in the race in that club will allow us to make a BIG point to the anti-Hillary crowd that ONLY Ron Paul can keep up with Hillary's fundraising - "A vote for anyone but Paul is a vote for Hillary!"

NEGATIVE, We need ground troops more now. Money comes quite easy now for RP.

I think weve gotten as much milage from the press as we can on fundraising. Everyone knows he can raise money.

The blimp drives down his unfavorable rating. that's a real issue in states past Iowa and NH. Get the blimp funded and it will neutralize the bad press thats flying when we win NH.

In order to win NH we need to fund live free or die.

The 20million number is nice.. but it wont do anything extra for us.

I think hitting 20 Million would be great. No doubt...or more.

But I think some of our grassroots effort deserve a bit more of our $$$ currently.

My top three would be....

operationnh.com and funding their grassroots commercials

The Blimp!

Any local funding your meetup group might need to continue to spead the word.

They can't not talk about it when he is at the top of all other candidates for Q4 fund raising.

It is also more money in the pocket of the campaign for Super Tuesday States.

The statistic we should be targeting as a visible, measurable goal is the number of new donors.

This is what shows how many people we are converting to the cause to the extent that they are willing to put their name down and make a contribution of their hard-earned dollars. When people reach this level of committment they are also ready to talk up Ron Paul with others and further increrase our voter base.

Ok i've about had it with people on this forum... how is a logically laid out rationale... that $21 million for the quarter gives added significance as being the top republican quarter all year... worthy of 1-2 star forum ratings??? Since when was raising a reasonable amount of money for Dr. Paul a bad thing???

$1million more money isn't the end of the world for us to raise... and getting to that $21million number holds a lot more significance than $20million for the reasons I have outlined above. For instance its only $33 each from the 30k new donors we have had in the past week.

Isn't the campaign organizing the "boots on the ground" in the early primary states? All we should worry about is getting them the cash to do it. Read this stuff...

Look at the options on the right boarder...

I vote we break $21 million AND get out the vote. It takes me 1 minute to donate, so having another money bomb (which we are on Dec 31) doesn't take away from my on-the-ground support!!

Heck yea!!
