I am in Minnesota and signed up as a precinct captain. I am in rural America and people are pretty independent. I feel uncomfortable force feeding people Ron Paul. We had a sportsman's meeting (outdoors people) last night and after the meeting, we were having a few beers and I got an in when people were talking about some corrupt so and so, I brought up Ron Paul. One person said he had heard about him, the 2 others I was talking to had not. I did a little promoting, pulled out slim jims for everyone and they all looked excited and said the would research him more. One comment I got after one person read the slim jim, was I am giving this to my brother, he will be voting for him. This kind of thing gives me more confidence to do more of it.
