Watch this video of how this guy is getting it done
http://www.ronpaulreveres.com/canvassing

If 70,000 Meetup supporters knock on just 100 doors, we will quickly reach 7 million households, and approximately 14 million voters. The numbers are staggering. Actually, breathtaking! Wow! Amazing!

Imagine the power of supporting our national campaign team with a national canvassing effort! If you just reach 7.2 households per day, in 14 days we're there! No other campaign is doing it. Because no other candidate has the manpower to do it.

By using our numbers, we can start networking about Ron Paul and eventually we'll get to everyone. Once we suck someone in they stay in, and then they'll become one of us!! Muahahahahhaahaha

If we really want this to happen we need to make this an actual event. Set a date (soon) and spread it across the Ron Paul interwebs.

I'm all up for it. I'll just knock on a few neighbors houses over the next few days, but to make this big, it needs to be BIG!

So who's with me? Let's set a date.

It needs to be soon, especially in the early states.

But out of all the projects we have, the letter writing, the blimp, all of it, this would be the most effective and the cheapest project out of all of them. If there's enough weight put under it, with a website, youtube videos and all, we could literally win this election by a storm.

I say every weekend or every day off work. You may also do phone canvassing. Get the lists of voters in your neighborhood from your state coordinator if you have one.

Be careful about irritating people, though. I know a lot of people who wouldn't appreciate being annoyed in their own homes for some political candidate. We'd have to make clear that we're unaffiliated supporters, for one, and organize locally who's going where so that people don't get bothered twice in the same day. Other than that, it's a good idea. 70k x 100 houses sounds relatively reasonable, but could be a lot of man-hours, so we'd have to pick a good day where people are free, like a Saturday (since it'll be difficult to organize it now, before the end of the Christmas break people are taking).

In AZ, we are using our state coordinator to get our voter lists to canvass. Using this process we eliminate doubling each other's work since our coordinator will alert us if there is another supporter in our neighborhood canvassing and allow us to coordinate on which doors to knock on without visiting anybody twice! Then, when our area is done, we will go to the next unvisited area as given by our coordinator.

Also, our meetup is running contests and prize giveaways to boost interest and add some fun and motivation (like we need any!) :)

Great volunteers here, I must say!

To cut back on repeated homes, speaking to people in the street would make the effort seem a little more random. Even if they have been accosted more than once they wouldn't mind it too much in the street. If its at their home they'll begin to think we're some sort of Jehovah's Witness.

yup we can undermine the media because their reach is limited to those who still pay attention to them.

10's of millions have tuned out, and are just waiting for us to show up on their doorsteps to deliver them hope.

(also always mention income taxes, people react passionately and positively to this)
