Hello all!

The Ron Paul Campaign has purchased air time to allow the American public to be introduced to our awesome presidential candidate, Dr Ron Paul.

A 30 minute special will be aired Sunday Dec 23rd at:

11:30 AM on NBC
or
12 Noon on ABC

Also, Ron Paul will be the guest on "Meet the Press" on Sunday

I feel that once people learn about the wisdom and dedication of this great statesman, there will be no question who they will support for president.

Please remind them ALL that we need to get Dr. Paul the republican nomination first, and need them to please take an hour to attend our Iowa caucus on Jan 3rd at 7 pm (sharp! be there early!)

Any person who is not registered to vote, may register at the caucus, AND any democrat or independent who wants to caucus for Ron Paul can change their party affiliation the night of the caucus, also!

If you will please encourage all people you care about, and even those you may not, to please take a half an hour this Sunday to educate themselves on this once-in-a-lifetime candidate.

No one can promote Dr Paul more than the good doctor himself, being himself!

The title says NBC and ABC, but the post says NBC or ABC. Is this national? And I hope everyone here takes a few people with them to caucus for RP.

This is awesome! I never realize this was true in Iowa. In my state you must register Rep to vote Rep in the primaries. I hope that this difference in Iowa contributes immensely to Paul's success and i am sure it will!

I hope it's different then the one for Iowa, the abortion thing is much too heavy for the liberal coasts.

Just read the note guys, it appears to be directed at Iowans:

I hope it is just Iowa, if they are airing the special that is youtube. Way too much focus on abortion.

We also need to make sure people WATCH it. That means telling all your friends and family to take some time out and check out the special!!! Just because we buy air time doesn't mean people will watch - a lot of people skip over these news reports.

Good Grief. People will still be in church if they are churchgoers.

That seems like a bad time of day for the ad.

EXACTLY! I was just thinking the same thing. That ad would be great for Iowa, probably not anywhere else.

I'm sure they know this though.

This thread is too vague.

I hope its not national tv because if its the video I have seen already, that will not be effective on the east coast and probably elsewhere. I liked the vid when I saw it because I felt it was going to be very effective for the audience in Iowa. That is not a good national program at all.

The 30 minute video is Iowa only.

On the official campaign YouTube channel the video is called Ron Paul TV Special for Iowa.

It is a targeted ad for Iowa. If this doesn't help him break into 3rd place, nothing will.

Not for most Republican voters.
in california, for example, ron should be targeting all voters. his message of freedom wins over TONS of democrats and independants. targeting just conservative republicans is missing out.

Excellent, right when church is letting out and folks are heading to restaurants.... Brilliant.

im sure they have a reason for 11:30 and 12:00. most church services are out around 11 or so. i would imagine that 12 is probably a decent slot, and it might have been the best for the cost/viewers ratio

the cost difference between noon and 3pm is probably quite excessive, especially considering its at the end of the NFL season

They're INFOMERCIALS. They usually run at midnight. There will be tens of thousands of people who a) skip church b) come home early c) don't go to church or d) just hear about it and check out the late show. In advertising eyes cost a lot of money and 30 minutes is A LOT of time. This will have it's benefit, too, I think.
