Nope. How did you know about this? It's not listed on the campaign website, is it?

I saw it... a pretty good interview.

In no particular order:

The best part was when Joe said Ron Paul was going to surprise a lot of people in NH.

Also, before Dr. Paul was on, Joe and crew poked fun (a little) at George S(I'm not even going to try to spell it) for the ABC interview.

Joe liked that Dr. Paul practices what he preaches. He also when through a small list of people and asked Ron if they were conservatives:
Giuliani - No
Romney - No
Thompson - No
There might have been another.

Talked about money too.

Nothing too ground breaking, be he did get a little respect.

I just noticed it by chance. Maybe they like the attention the show gets when he is on.

Email Joe your thanks: joe@msnbc.com

Just sent him an email and I think it may be a good idea if we all did. It may encourage him to ask him on again. He will see that we are more than just a few ...

I say fire up the email machine and thank him...

Joe –

Although I wasn’t able to see it this morning – I heard that you had Ron Paul on your show and I just want to thank you.

For some reason the mainstream media has been ignoring or downplaying Ron Paul’s candidacy. I can assure you there is a HUGE groundswell of support for this man. So anytime he gets some media exposure – I take the time to personally thank the media outlet.

Way to go Joe!

I didn't know much about Joe Scarborough but liked the interview and had to look him up.

And after reading his wiki page, it is no surprise that he likes Ron.

IMHO, this was one of the better interviews from an interviewER standpoint. He had almost nothing negative to say about RP, and even ended the interview saying that he was sure RP would surprise a lot of people in New Hampshire come January.

The momentum continues to build...

I agree! We gotta thank those who are not biased against the good doctor. I was never a Joe fan but he really got on my good side for this

I think he meant angry emails.

I think he just realizes that there is no fury like a Ron Paul army scorned... I'm sure he'd be delighted to open his inbox and see hundreds of kudos, I'm sure his network head will like it too

That's what I thought he said, too, though it's possible he was talking about Paul's friends in Washington.

After the first debate Joe was very enamored with Mitt Romney and used almost the same words he used to describe Ron Paul in that he thought lots of people would be "suprised by Romney" in the near future.

I hope Joe has truly decided to throw his support behind Ron Paul instead of Romney!!

I liked Mika's response to Joe when he said "we got the next President of the United States on the phone right now." Mika responds "oh my goodness, we do don't we, some people are Ron Paulaholics."

Somebody just told me this, so DO NOT EMAIL HIM. I didn't know he had said not to.

"PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL JOE SCARBOROUGH - he said he does NOT want anymore emails - and we should not alienate those who give Dr. Paul a fair shake - so please refrain, he knows we appreciate it."

don't pass unverifiable info, like we need more of that. It's most likely someone trying to police us in how they think we should behave.

What are you refering to? Joe asked Ron Paul in the interview to have his 'friends' stop emailing him. Just listen to the video.

Yea, but does Joe really mean don't send him 'nice' and 'thoughtful' emails about what a great interview he had with Ron Paul?

torchbearer
07-09-2007, 12:40 PM
I don't think he said either way... just stop. I'm not telling anyone not to email him... just asking each person, before they email... to watch the video and see where he asks people to stop, and then make an informed decision either way.

ya except the guy who made the post didn't frame it that way, he said "some guy said stop sending emails because joe said no"

I didn't email but that's just because i'm lazy in the morning time. I think we've got a future endorsement here - joe considers himself a true conservative and ron confirmed to him that he is the only conservative game in town. Logic concludes..
