My parents were returning from Florida a week or so ago and they saw a blimp and assumed it was the Ron Paul blimp. It was too far away for them to be sure, but they assumed that it was.

I was pretty shocked that they even knew the Ron Paul blimp existed. I had not told them about it.

The blimp is working. It is worthy of support.

Hopefully this will give people motivation to really get behind this thing with their dollars. It is up to us! And PLEASE no more sour grapes over everything that doesn't go your way with blimp. We need to keep this going for the PR it generates, which has been great. I've heard it on the ground myself:

Aquaintance: Oh, I think I've heard of that guy. They just had something about the radio, that he has one of those aircraft--like Goodyear--advertising for him.

Perhaps we can come up with some creative for those states. We seem to have become hung up on the blimp. It is a fantastic idea, but sign waves, and bill boards probably reach more people.

Let's make the blimp part of our advertising in Iowa and New Hampshire-- on billboards, bumper stickers, signs, and in grassroots produced television commercials. When you think batteries, think the Energizer bunny. When you think presidential candidate, think the Ron Paul blimp.

Because of the weather, let's focus on South Carolina and Florida. We have a good chance to place third in Iowa. Then suppose we do at least second in New Hampshire. If we win South Carolina, where we're now at 11%, Ron will be at the head of the pack. And, if the blimp goes to Florida, we could really upset Giuliani's apple cart there.

I would love for the blimp to go to New Hampshire. But unless the professional weather people say otherwise, I think we may have to forego it. Blimp or no blimp, I think Operation Live Free or Die will own NH.
