Our website: www.OzarksVoter.info (http://www.ozarksvoter.info/ronpaul/) Supports Ron Paul for President!

We are working to help bring Ron Paul's message of Freedom and Liberty to the rural areas of southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. If you or someone you know is in the Ozarks region, please drop by our site (http://www.ozarksvoter.info/ronpaul/) and see what's going on.

There is a surprising number of Ron Paul supporters among the rural folks in the Ozarks, and our numbers are growing rapidly as his message gets out.
We're a very active group, doing all we can to spread that message!

Please also take a gander at our: Ozarks For Ron Paul blog

We welcome your ideas and comments...

Y'all come by now, ya hear? :)

At least here in McDonald county where I live (in the SW corner of Missouri), we've gone back to regular paper ballots and ink pens.

True, they still use the "optical reader" machine - but at least when we want a recount it is very easy and no more "hanging chads" to worry about. (We also suffered with those awful "Butterfly Ballots" for years.)

But getting back to your point: An election is only as safe and honest as the election officials that run things, especially at the precinct level. If you can't trust the little old ladies to do it right where you live, then its up to us to get involved locally, give up the paycheck on election days and volunteer ourselves.

Vigilance friends! Vigilance always...
