My wife 10 years ago worked in advertising. She said you can buy "article" space in magazines. It will have a disclaimer such as "this article paid for by concerned citizens", but I'm thinking, if the MSM won't cover RP, the grassroots supporters can buy space.

Below is an an example of a small magazine. A small ad is $60 - but instead of an ad, maybe we can buy a 2 page "article" - it could be an interview of sorts - I think it would be better than an ad, because it can discuss a lot of RP's stands.

This magazine is a fortnightly events magazine for San Jose:

What do you guys think?

I would say to do that mainly if you are at the maximum donation limit or are targeting a specific readership... The main campaign can get (generally) more bang for the buck by pooling, but there are always exceptions (Especially like the local paper you are talking about). Plus we get the double-shot of higher contribution reports (aka beating McCain on cash on hand is HUGE)

And never forget, any action (so long as it is done in good faith without trolling) is better than no action.

p.s. We got FREE publication from the largest Seattle night scene magazine just from being interesting... http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/Content?oid=258048

Don't forget that these local rags aren't MSM and do not have alterior motives... They publish stories about what they think will interest people. (The higher their pickup rates the more ad money they can demand.)
