Well over here threads informing about the fraud are moved on hot topics.

Something's wrong with that.

Some people have said that the official campaign has the plan for this and we should just forget about the issue.

I have a hard time believing that.

NO VOTING MACHINES

It's official:

Democratic Party procedures - Haven't and won't use any voting machines in the caucuses.

Republican Party procedures - They used voting machines in the Republican straw poll in August, but will not use the machines in the January caucus.

PUBLIC COUNTING PROCEDURES?

Both parties say they will count the votes in public at the precincts.

Dem procedures: Stand in a clump, count the warm bodies. Public count. Dem procedures are publicly posted on sec. state web site.

Rep Procedures: Write name on piece of paper, hand count it. Rep procedures are not posted yet.

I spoke with Chad Olsen, one of the people with the Iowa Republican Party handling the caucuses. According to Olsen, the procedure will be for each participant to write the name on a piece of paper. Those pieces of paper will be collected and will be counted by the precinct caucus officials in front of representatives for the candidates and an observer or observers.

yup.. THIS IS A MAJOR MAJOR CONCERN.

This is a last resort for the establishment. I mean, again during the AMES straw poll, one of the Diebold machines "happened" to go haywire.. and "that" machine had a proportionately different vote count than the others....

can anyone say "test run".......

anyways.. this is a HUGE issue, imho.

I have a hard time believing that.

I couldn't care if the campaign officially requested people to forget about the issue, it's absurd not to try your hardest to ensure transparent and verifiable elections.

I highly doubt the diebold guy will know anything. I think during the primaries, we are safe but I think fraud takes place during election in November. I am just learning about this now, so i dunno if fraud will take place in Jan.
