we have had trouble getting the Ron Paul message through the MSM. today I
found this on LewRockwell.com:

http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/deden-t1.html

Circumventing the MSM

excerpts:

"What if there were a way for the people to broadcast their own reports and programming over a cable television channel? "

...

"I submit this idea to a candid world. I do not have time to act on it myself, but I hope that, if this idea is found to have merit, that there will be motivated people out there who do have the resources to act on it. For it, the world will be a better place."

does anybody here think this is worthwhile and/or doable?

All or most local cable tv stations have their own channel space designated to advertising and programming they endorse ( like newspapers ). You might consider contacting the ownership and seeing about a Dr. Paul endorsement although I doubt you would get it.

There is no way to legally inject signal over cable otherwise.

Ham radio is an option, I do not know the legality of advertising like a radio station over ham though.

I don't think your going to get fcc permision to transmit uhf/vhf frequencies as all bandwidth is taken.

We already own the internet.

Word of mouth and canvassing are your best bet in areas where people have no internet access...

sounds like current.tv (http://current.com/), actually al gore's creation. from what i understand they are already profitable, and al gore's stake is estimated to be worth $100 million. for those that don't know, for all the joking about al gore having invented the internet, he was involved with and on the board of google early on and has made several hundreds of millions of dollars on google. the man has really been on a role since leaving the white house.

public access television?

that might work to get started, but it would require a sponsoring producer in each city that it would air in, which might not be easy to do.
