District 2 in New Orleans was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina. There are about 7 people there who would like to be delegates for the Republican Party ;);) , but they can't afford the 100.00 delegate fee because they have lost everything and are living in FEMA trailers.
The Republican Party needs delegates and the people who want to be delegates cant' afford to pay. So you're helping the Republican Party. There is no need to extrapolate from there.
Here is the guy's e-mail who is in charge of district 2 (he also lives in a FEMA trailer in New Orleans.. I have seen it personally so can vouch for it). One of the delegates is a blind elderly man who has no money and lives in a FEMA trailer. edward19@cox.net
