Local IS doing it and will continue to do it!!!!!!! Stop and think about how the cable "NEWS" channels came into existence and why?? They are Tabloid with a little real news thrown in...............nothing more than advertising dumps, just like "The Weather channel", when was the last time you actually waited to get your forecast from that rag?

Local always and forever, thats where you still have honest reporting.

Yep.. the local media coverage on the blimp is amazing. Everywhere is goes they announce on the news so people can go out and see it. People all over are saying they have seen the blimp... all because the local media's great coverage. This is headed to New York soon so who knows how many it will reach once their media catches word of its arrival!

I've found local media largely sympathetic, and even if they arent, they are very willing to tell the local story.

Only takes a very small number of people doing something like waving signs! Simple!
