I hadn't seen this anywhere before but politico says in an article that Brownback raised $1.5M in Q2, and that the campaign declined to say what they have left on hand (this will public 7/16). This sounds good to me. I can't wait to see the figures for Huckabee, as he seems to have a bit of traction here.

Other amazing info here:

'The former Massachusetts governor has 20 full-time staffers, coordinators in most of the state's 99 counties, and a group of about 50 "super volunteers" that has already swept through the universe of likely caucus-goers with initial phone calls and have begun going door to door in key precincts.'

This is just in Iowa! It also says Brownback has 13 paid staff in Iowa and 46 college interns.

This is a really informative article about what we're up against in Iowa.

We're really going to need to harness the power of volunteerism. We're going to have to put shoe rubber to concrete and knock on doors.
