The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows a continuing slide for Rudy Giuliani. In the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination, it’s Mike Huckabee at 21%, John McCain and Mitt Romney at 15% each, Giuliani at 13% and Fred Thompson at 12% (see recent daily numbers). Ron Paul currently attracts 6% of Likely Republican Primary voters nationwide. Link. Nine weeks ago on 10/14/07, Huckabee was at 6%, McCain at 8%, Romney at 14%, Giuliani at 30%, and Thompson at 18%.

It has not been a good nine weeks for the frontrunners.

Yes, but we need to keep Huck in the ballpark at the same time. This is exactly the kind of number spread we need to win. Right now with a 5% margin of error Huck could well be 16% and Paul 11%. Maybe someone is catching on after all.

Jacmicwag,

Hucks support is increasingly coming from women voters, who are potentially being overweighted this election season. He's probably already in the teens. :)

We don't need to worry about the other candidates so much. We need to FOCUS on what we're doing. Raising money for the official campaign, canvassing and outreach in IA, NH & SC -- and grassroots development in later states.

Focus. Focus. Focus.

Why do you sign your name twice? If your name is in your sig, and your user name, is there any reason to write "Huey" after your post?

Huey,
Leave Huey alone and let Huey do what he wants. He's not hurting you, Huey.

They got their initial "likely republican" lists from the list of idiots who've donated to Bush in 2004! They removed the people who voted "Other" in the early polls from which Paul was excluded. They continued to exclude Paul in some key states even after Nov 5th! The MSM has been doing everything they can to keep us down!

In other words, what we have here is the perfect storm of selection bias. After Ron Paul does well in Iowa and wins NH, they will be left scratching their heads!
