Luft97 just made a thread linking to a gambling911.com article, which is pretty supportive of Dr. Paul.

This could turn into something pretty big, I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there in the poker community that are unaware of Dr. Paul and his pro-gambling positions.

Digg and comment please! :)

Thanks.

As long as the bury brigade doesn't take it down, this might actually be worth something.

"I went to the Portland Tea Party last weekend (A few pages back), and got to conversation with about 15 people total. A grand total of ONE of them had EVER voted Republican before. The people who I talk to at work (Own my own buisness and have Ron Paul stuff up and on the counter) who are going to vote for him also either haven't voted or voted Dem in the past.

"This is one of many reasons that the polls don't convey his support, and why the Old Media is so far behind the times. They'll figure it out after Iowa/NH, when the losers drop out. They'll have no choice when he's one of the last 3 or 4 candidates in the field."

HOLY $&*(#$! THAT'S ME!!!!! :D

Or the one talking?

Which one? The one republican?

Or the one talking?

The one who put that on the 2+2 thread. The post that I referenced in that one was:

Just got back from the Ron Paul Tea Party in Portland! Was pretty great, we got a Tea Shop/Lounge (only in Portland, right?) to close down and have a private party for us. The lounge held about 50 people, and even getting there 15 minutes early there was nowhere to sit. I finally snagged myself a chair and was able to watch the videos/etc that were going on. The people kept pouring in and had to stand out in the lobby area, probably another 25 of them or so. Anyway, I was pretty impressed by the amount and diversity of the people. You had the aging anti-war hippies, the crazy libertarian college guys, buisness men/women, and everybody in between.

It was a pretty good time. Lots of beers, got voter registrations for people at my store. Got a couple DVDs and a few more things to hand out. Also, a couple phone numbers from the more attractive girls as well. I even threw another $100 in as a last minute donation to get us a little higher. Being able to watch that meter just keep rising was great.

Anyway, just a trip report from one of the Tea Party events tonight. Hope that you guys had a great day too!

Yeah :) That's where I first started watching all the videos that convinced me to throw my support behind Dr. Paul. And the gambling 9-11 article was right, there's NO slowing it down at all.

Maybe we should put some banner ads in places like this:

I support this idea.

I support this idea.

Ditto, although the article in the OP is going to get MAJOR MAJOR views. And it's very likely that a lot of those views will be people who don't know that RP will lift the cloud and declare that it's perfectly OK to play poker online.

Thanks for your great coverage of Ron Paul in your latest article! It's important for people to know that Ron Paul stands for the freedom to play poker in their own homes!

Also, if you'd like you may use my name. I'm the "one poster" that you quote in the article, and it would probably give it a little more oomph :)

Once again, thank you for your great article! I'll be sure to link to all the poker players I know :)

One of their contributing writers, Jennifer Reynolds, used to post here back in June-August until she left due to arguments among her and some posters. :(

Online Poker Players should watch this video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-798954232617766758&q=Ron+Paul&total=14468&start=0&num=10&so=1&type=search&plindex=5)

It would be great, if we could get an endorsement for Ron Paul from one of the most famous Poker players.

Does anyone know what message boards are popular for poker?

We need to get over there and spread some good word.

The poker community is huge in America! We need their support.

Trust me, we've already got it *laugh* There's a Ron Paul video thread that's almost 2000 posts long. Poker players know who stands up for them. (At least the ones on the internet do)

Two Plus Two forum (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/forumdisplay.php?f=41) (most popular forum in the world I think)

They like RP allready over there. :) But I guess it doesn't harm to provide them with the latest news from time to time.

I've frequently seen famous boxers enter the boxing ring with "goldenpalace.com" written on their backs. Goldenpalace is an online gambling site. And obviously the ad worked because I remember it. There are also quite a few ads on the actual ring surface and on the ring posts.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who favors legalizing online gambling. It only seems logical that Ron Paul should be advertising in such a fashion.

Here is the upcoming fight schedule

http://fightnews.com/schedulemm.shtml

The fights in yellow are all championship fights.

It might also be cool to have a few people at ringside holding Ron Paul signs.

Thoughts?
