Paul needs to show that he can gain support from the religious right. Paul's supporters are not going to be turned away from this.

We need their votes.

I tend to agree. The marriage bit will cause confusion without an explanation.

RIGHT!! The very area we are LACKING is the conservative Christian vote. Chuck Baldwin is one of the cleanest most respected men around. Some of you seem to forget that Ron Paul is a Christian himself!

We should not be afraid of an endorsement from someone so libertarian and passionate about the Constitution and Ron Paul. This is exactly what we need right now. This guy can drag votes away from Huckabee.

He ran as VP for Peroutka in 2004.

This endorsement is only good for targeting Christians. I do not think it is a good thing for general distribution. Baldwin was speaking to Christians when he made this and didn't adequately define Paul's positions, which is necessary for other people to understand.

Not one single Ron Paul voter will be turned away by this video. Indeed, they will be excited to see more diverse individuals with a huge following throwing their weight behind the Dr and giving us even more confidence that he can win. There is no need to filter these videos to a certain crowd.

Anybody who is not a Christian or already a Ron Paul supporter wouldn't watch this video more than 30 seconds, so I don't see how it could hurt.

Chuck Baldwin has written some GREAT articles:
http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwina.htm
Most of the more recent ones all end in "this is why you should support Ron Paul".

I don't know a lot about him, but from what I read I think he would make a great VP for RP, and an announcement of him as RP's VP choice before the primaries would probably trump Huckabee for the Christian voters.

Wow. You're onto something there! That's brilliant, and you're so right, it would trump Huckabee. I wished i had thought of it.

Yeah, especially since RP really did not say this. He said he thinks marraige is a church institution not a governmental one.
