Did I mention that it's also National Freedom Day?

This should be the day of the new money bomb...not MLK day.

This really works great, I think. It's a double plus with both events on the same day.

not to mention it is the first day of black history month

Freedom Day and their Wedding Anniversary, man. Any reporting on this event will have to include a nod of congratulations on being married 51 years, unless the reporter is a massive jerk, and I think by February they'll come around ;) This is good because it hits both fronts that we will need to continue cultivating just before super tuesday: Paul's policies, and Paul's personality. Not to mention the old "Holy Balls, Ron Paul Just Raised Buckets of Money Again" headline. PLUS, it lets us give him and Carol the best anniversary gift we can :o

Without a doubt this should be the next money bomb.

I definitely would support this one if we're talking money bombs here (I know many of you have stated "no more money bombs").

Yes, if there's to be another money bomb, this day's as good as any. However, I'm not sure how much it would help, given that Super Tuesday's just a few days later.

Were I looking to have another money bomb, I would be all for Feb 1.

However, I do no believe another money bomb to be an effective use of resources. We've got no more records to break but our own. Better to give the campaign a steady stream of cash.

I like the money bomb idea. Bit I'm maxed out now, so....

As far as the wedding anniversary, I think I will send some flowers, FTD style, to the campaign headquarters he and his wife will be closer to that week.

I'm going to add a note, thanking Ron, and his wife, for helping to give me a braver louder voice.
One that I may have kept silent if it weren't for his inspirational move to run, and speak the truth.

Could be a good idea.

Now that is a day we can unite behind. A man of character and the devotion he has had to his wife, ideals, and country.

It's a significant day, but they need money FOR February 5th... Giving them a couple million or so 4 days before it doesn't help much at all.

Word. I've got donor fatigue.

Doesn't have to be a money bomb. How about some sort of symbolic gesture?

the money they have now is good for Feb 5th

Feb1st will help us DESTROY ALL THE LATER PRIMARIES

It highlights Dr. Paul's good family values--by living them (no multiple divorces, etc).

Also, it brings the campaign's secret weapon to the forefront. I mean of course Carol Paul! :)

No more existing dates. Lets make one... Super Wednesday. But I'm tired and want the money to stay in the states. Let's do individual events, cluster bombs if you will. You keep what you kill.

Better yet, lets get away from the "bomb" thing all together. How about "Parade". Everyone loves a parade.
