Ron Paul is generating more mainstream attention, and more users to the forum. Many of these people browsing the forums want to read, but don't want to be blasted with huge pictures of "nuts", gonads, or whatever. Please remember that you are representing Ron Paul, and show enthusiasm in other ways that are not offensive to a lot of people. :)

Who are "these people?"

Are they a protected species?

Who would be offended by a picture of a light globe that has morphed into a ball sack?

I'm not sure if I would want to associate with anyone so prudish.

Who are these people?

They must be... the apologist are pre-empting something that doesn't yet exist, like Iraq's wmd.

Who are these people?

The people behind companies such as Net Nanny and other filtering software who will plop this site into their filtering system without a second thought, making it inaccessible to computers where said software is installed. That includes many Fortune 500 corporate servers and pretty much every primary and secondary school in the country, as well as millions of private citizens. None of them will never be able to access this site, all because a couple of mental midgets thought it would be funny to post pictures of genitalia.

So if you want to hurt Ron Paul and censor his message, by all means keep posting pictures of nutsacks. Freedom rox, bro!

Your argument actually hurts the OP's position. They are afraid people will see it, you say they won't. Which is it?

Its not either-or, its if-and. If it (the nutsack picture postings) continues, "they" (Net Nanny, et al.) will be afraid that their customers will see it, and will take action to ensure that their customers won't. After all, that's exactly what their customers are paying them to do. Although I agree with the OP, I wasn't trying to buttress the OP's point as much as make one of my own as a spinoff.

ok. thanks for the complete answer... i thought people who don't want to see vulgarity would apply the correct software.
Though i'm not familiar with the software.... i can see how some may not be able to access the site..

But this site isn't really good for newbies anyway.. especially with the trolldom that goes on... and the flame wars... so it may be best that this site is blocked to the "sensitive"...and thus, they get their info from ronpaul2008.com which is a better source of info than this jungle board.

Good points, all. My main concern is with the site becoming filtered to the vast number of corporate surfers, not necessarily protecting the delicate sensibilities of individual bluenoses and prudes. At my place of work, you have to be VERY careful about where you surf even if you're on break or at lunch - not only does the software block "objectionable" sites, it records your IP if you even try to surf to any of them, and your manager and the suits get automatic notification that you were trying to surf Rotten.com or whatever. Hundreds of people in our organization were fired for less, even for typoing otherwise legitimate URLs.

A brave new world that has such prudes in it ...

Ouch, that is why collectivist thinking is so dangerous.
Do we have a forum policy against porn? we should.

Jesus, if you went down to the beach that I fish at every morning, and saw the flesh I see, you'd be casting your rod into the ocean too.
