This is why it is a necessity to combat the linkage of Ron Paul and racism.

nothing wrong with that article, except for their motivation to bring it up in the first place.

Hmmm.... Looks like the argument in favor of an MLK day moneybomb just got stronger...

RP had a good line to this a few days ago, something like "well I'm glad we got their money then to use it to spread the message of freedom instead of them having it while spreading hate"

The money quote:

We know that he's not a white nationalist. He says he isn't and we believe him, but on the issues, there's only one choice

The article in the link mentions that.

The problem is the headline has been copied all over the net.

Google this line:
"Ron is going to take the money and try to spread the message of freedom."

Looks like the AP added actual quotes from Don Black, and they actually help.

"We know that he's not a white nationalist. He says he isn't and we believe him, but on the issues, there's only one choice," Black said Wednesday.

RP's brilliant response to Cavuto today on the white supremacist donation:

Reading that Don Black said...

"We know that he's not a white nationalist. He says he isn't and we believe him, but on the issues, there's only one choice."

-AND-

"We like his stand on tight borders and opposition to a police state."

... is enough for me.

I liked Black's response. In a twisted way, it is almost a bump.

I think this may make the general election tougher.

Also I kind of hope Russert brings it up this weekend and RP knocks it out of the park completely, so we can be done with these kinds of questions.

What the 'white supremacist' said was good too.

It's the issues that matter. If a racist can figure it out...

This is PR and politics. How many communist or white supremacist donations do you think any normal Democratic or Republican candidates get annually...THOUSANDS. This is just their way of chipping away at Dr. Paul's image because they have nothing else.

They did it after November 5th, they're doing it now and they did it with the Bunny Ranch guy! The best way to deal with it is the way he has been, by turning the article around and suoving it down their throats.....

....This is America, and under the constitution, you have a right to believe whatever you want.....and the right to give financially to a candidate that protects your freedom to do so.
