One thing that i noticed is that in the old interview Cavuto just attacked Ron at every chance he got. But in this interview he actually gave an easy interview which tells me something. When a political top tier candidate is interviewed the interview is usually easy or scripted (like hillary campaign telling Wolf Blitzer to not beat on her in the debate) because if the person wins the presidency they may reject interviews as president to that network so they take it easy on them. I am thinking he took it easy on him because they know he actually has a chance now (although i don't think Ron would reject an interview as president).

1) I think we need to message the Head Editors of Faux and tell them we are viewers are annoyed that they get their facts wrong and interview presidential candidates like Ron Paul in an insualting way.

2) Can we get a bit more of Ron Pauls Xmas ad out on the national MSM? I know Ron Paul doesn'tbelieve in warm and fuzzy promotions but.. well it does help a bit.

3) Ron Paul asnwered that rude reporter really really well !!! Its snowing wherre he is so lets all hope he keeps warm.

I remember this. But I believe it was on Fox Business Channel, not the "News" channel. Pandering to different audiences, just like all the other candidates...

HazardPerry
12-19-2007, 04:24 PM
I don't know if the interview was worthless. To anybody with a brain, Paul looked like the one person who wasn't going to snuggle up and try to smooch their way into Washington. He called them out for being losers who trick people with a fireplace and a smile, then turn around and flush their money down the toilet when they get into office. Paul himself had a Christmas ad out before these jokers did, and you'll notice Fox didn't run it. For once their insistent pandering came in handy. Paul looked like the only guy who would shake his head and tell it like it is.

Then Cavuto dropped the donor bomb. I'm so tired of hearing this, and to be honest Cavuto seemed to be somewhat mollified after hearing Paul's response. Paul is absolutely right. It's not like the white supremacist is giving him money earmarked to burn down churches or something. If he wants to give up his money for Dr. Paul, that is $500 far better spent. Not to mention the secondary fact that it is nigh-impossible, and besides inconsiderate, to root around in every single donor's background. Cavuto's reading on-air of the guys name and address was really low. Plus, our man drove the point home with a barb in the direction of the lobbyists and special interests.

Mindless maniacs who want to hug their TV just to feel close to that toad Huckabee aren't going to roll over for Ron Paul anyway. RP attracts people by speaking his mind, because no matter what he has to say, there is an instant recognition that he means it. That is so shocking that many people react favourably almost on the spot. I think this is good for us.

I think that if Dr. Paul keeps responding to the 'racist' 'angle of attack' like he did today at the end of the Fox interview with Cavuto (re: 'the really evil thing is money from the MIC and special interest") it will be a tremendous boon to the campaign..

Like most earlier attacks against Paul.. they are only helping him expose yet another serious flaw with the current system of federal governance (re: Special interest $$)

Greetings All,

This is my email to Neil.

"Nice Try Neil"

Greetings Mr. Cavuto (and staff),

I just watched your 12/19/2007 interview of Congressman Ron Paul on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrRtZaG63o8. First of all, do you and your staff
have internet access? If so you would find this add from Congressman Paul
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZPCWGtIupE. It really speaks to your credibility for you not to have know about this or show it in your montage, especially when it was released before Huckabee's Christmas add.

Also, do you think you could try just a little harder to make a complete fool of
yourself by asking him one more time about a single $500 donation? After all you
well know he has had over 100,000 people donate over $18,000,000 to his campaign this quarter alone. Or is this another example of the lack of research your staff does before interviews?

Please, next time, why not ask him a serious question about his policies and
politics? To quote from your very own words in a recent story
(http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,317389,00.html)

"Because this nanny state costs us our freedom, our self respect, our very
being. They don't tell you that when they help you. You only see it after the
fact, when they own you."

Try asking Congressman Paul's opinion about big government and the nanny state
sometime, if you are honestly interested in someone who's voting record on the
topic speaks louder than your empty rhetoric.

Sincerely,

William C Colley

they probably didn't tell him they were going to show fuzzy ads or show him the lead into it.
then they ask him "what do you think of this?"
"of what...?"
or the other day they probably said they'd ask like "where are you?"
something just to try to make him look stupid. but he never does.
he is a master at interviews and debates. its easier to make sense and points when you don't have to think about what to say and speak the truth

In other words, RWNED!

Yes, RP seems to attract Intelligent persons that can think for themselves instead of people telling them what to think. Debating against reason and logic is a tough one for the liars club.

LMAO!! Neil looked like he got hit by a train at the end, like he was about to go cry to his producers for the nasty ass kicking RP laid upon him. That was awesome, and a lot of people just watched a failed smear attempt on someone who has pure words.

bravenewfilms really needs to those "FOX Attacks" pieces about Fox smearing Ron Paul.

they probably didn't tell him they were going to show fuzzy ads or show him the lead into it.
then they ask him "what do you think of this?"
"of what...?"
or the other day they probably said they'd ask like "where are you?"
something just to try to make him look stupid. but he never does.
he is a master at interviews and debates. its easier to make sense and points when you don't have to think about what to say and speak the truth

yup, exactly right

haha, all i could do was laugh and smile at the end. dr. paul did a wonderful job and it seemed that niel was apologetic at the end for even implying ron paul was a racist. "well over 10 million dollars in just a little more than a week, kind of hard to keep track of contributions as little as 500 dollars," said in a very solemn voice....made me laugh :)

It's like "they" never matured past the junior-high mentality.

Quite comical, actually. :D

Great interview, he completely turned the tables as usual!

I really hope he beefs up his security soon, though.....outspoken, revolutionary people like Ron Paul tend to have "accidents" somewhere along the line. I'm seriously concerned about this.

That was the best ending of an interview yet. Cavuto was ready to cry, could barely hear his voice. I think Cavuto was embarrassed for asking that absurd question. Makes you wonder who is really in charge during these so-called interviews. What a disgusting attempt at smearing Dr. Paul. He friggin' nailed Cavuto LOL.

Regardless of whether Neil Cavuto tries to trip up Ron Paul, he is a rock that won't budge. His beliefs and values are incredibly deep-rooted. The way he answered those boring questions with such energy and enthusiasm was awesome. The best part was at the end, Neil agreed that it is ridiculous to screen each and every donator after 10 million bucks comes in during a single week! Go Ron Paul!

Whats weird.. in the introduction - I did not hear the words "Texas congressman Ron Paul" He didnt use his name to introduce him. Anyone else find that weird, or am I missing something?

However, I must say.. Cavuto - got completely bitch slapped in that interview. I bet some dumbass producer told him to ask that question, and boy.. Cavuto pitched it, and Dr. Paul hit a linedrive upside the his head knocking him out. Thats the kind of response that you just HAVE to love Dr. Paul for.

Why did the part where Ashton Kucher runs on stage with Cavuto and screams "YOU JUST GOT PUNKED! AHAHAHAHHAHAHHA!" get cut from the clip?

I thought Ron Paul's answer to Neil was excellent and on point. Also, the interview showed Neil to be the typical media idiot, not actually researching before having someone on...Neil stated that Dr. Paul didn't have a Christmas ad at the beginning, when in fact Ron Paul was the first one with a Christmas ad that I know of out of all the candidates.

This should be required viewing for everybody on this forum who has worked so hard to get this man elected. This is the BS we are fighting. I am so pumped up after watching this so-called interview. What a friggin' hit piece. And yet, our man Dr. Paul shoved it up Cavuto's ass. :D

I sincerely hope thousands of undecided voters saw this because how can you not love Ron after watching this??

This is definitely my favorite Youtube "interview". :D

WOW. Fantastic response by Ron Paul!! And Cavuto was clearly backing off at the end.

Cavuto seemed down today, depressed, not at all like he was during an interview last month. Seemed to me that, at the end of this one, he realized his questions had been unfair.

Good on RP!!

hahahaha... and

THANKS FOR THE YOUTUBE

I guess Tim Russert's interview will be of this nature, mostly about the WP, 9/11, reptilians and other stuff that is out of his control... He gets better at responding this attacks...

I think that was a great interview. I had no problem with Neil asking him that. He hit a home run. Everytime the media tries to play gotcha, they come out looking bad ar at worst Ron comes out looking good. I think Meet the depressed is going to be a classic just because of this. Russert is going to play stump the teacher and is going to get owned hugely.

One might of thought Cavuto was at the urologist office cause he got his pee-pee slapped!

RP fielded the pitches and threw them back at Cavuto knocking Cavuto out at the plate . . .

RP gets the last word . . . NICE!
