View Full Version : Glenn Beck turned my IRS employed father from Rudy to Paul, believe it or not!

SO my father has been working for the IRS for close to 30 years, and has been for Rudy despite my best efforts to convince him Rudy is an alien puppet.

I never blamed him for not supporting Paul, how can you support the man who wants to immediately tear down the place you've worked for almost 30 years. I've picked and prodded at him as time has gone on, but another factor for him, alas, was the lack of media coverage, and the overall "he can't win so why waste my vote" attitude. it was sort of a "you lost me at hello" kind of deal. he just wasn't gonna change.

so i convinced him to watch the beck interview with me. afterwards he said he had to think about it.

well today he e-mailed me asking for links to relevant ron paul information, details on his stances, and all that.

so whatever glenn's real intentions might've been, he inadvertently convinced at least one (2 time bush voter, 30 year IRS employee) to at least give Paul some serious consideration!

Awesome! I sent Glenn a thank you e-mail because I think he has had enough hate mail for now ;) I would also encourage everyone who appreciated the interview to do the same.

Hannity is much more of an arch nemesis than Bleck.

my dad's close to retirement, actually i thikn he's officially working beyond the mandatory years, so he could theoretically retire whenever he wants. i doubt he'd be convinceable if he were say 3 years away from minimum retirement or something.

but whatever, i'm happy. i never seriously thought he'd even consider it
