When I was kicking around the Ron Paul Payday idea, I checked yesterday and ronpaulpayday.com was available, I was going to register it today and get something thrown up too see if there was any enthusiasm once people had something to look at, but guess what - it's registered now and just redirects to ronpaulmoneybomb.com Guess I snooze,I lose.

I take it the money bomb people don't want any competition, but I will stick my assertation that the bomb idea is getting tired and the payday idea centered around Dr. Paul's Tax/Fiscal policy could be a good marketing tool.

***I made this statement without fully investigating it and now fully retract it. My apologies.

different situation here today than it was in july or august... always lay groundwork first, then ask.

if it's a good idea these days it'll get snatched, not applauded.

good or bad thing? probably both. just something to consider...

i do like your idea BTW!

have a good one!

I guess that tells me all I need to know about the RonPaulMoneyBomb people. I sincerely hope you'll RETITLE this thread in a way that makes it obvious that your intellectual property was hijacked to prevent competition.

I don't have any problem at all with someone grabbing the idea and making it active... like you said, you snooze, you lose. But to hijack the idea and prevent it from being implemented to protect their own glory proves that they're putting their interests above those of the election, and that has absolutely no place on these forums.

This was a misunderstanding. The ronpaulmoneybomb people are without blame. This was my fault for poor research and i apologize.

try http://ronpaulpayday.com

So why does this URL redirect to rpmoneybomb then
if your initial thought was wrong?

They had registered well before the date I thought they had. I still want to work with them to get it to redirect to the payday site instead. I think this would be a better use of the site, but then again I am biased on this issue.

Of course it would. It's quite strange that they
registered that name. Almost a coincidence like
a lotto win.

I like the payday sight, but I do not see much difference between the 2 as far as results though. Both are a weekly donation drives.
