Ron Paul made the list of Time magazine's People who mattered:

Can some of you write a letter to the editor politely explaining that Ron Paul is not an isolationist, and ask that they issue a correction? Thanks.

You sort of have to guess that the editors of Time magazine would be some of those people that honestly do understand the difference between isolationism and non-interventionism; but are choosing to overlook it. Then again a polite letter never hurt.

Booed by Republicans for his isolationist foreign policy view...

Poor journalism as always, but it's a plus. More importantly--THAT'S THE BEST RP PIC I'VE COME ACROSS.

Those idiots, it's too bad so many Americans pay attention to TIME.

"isolationist" was unfortunate, but being given that level of crediblity by Time (one of 25 People who mattered this year) is outstanding!

I love the way they lumped Hiltlery and Obama together and then listed Ron Paul. The only three presidential candidates mentioned at all. Too bad it's a 'web exclusive'...

Dude, Person Of The Year just means the person with the most influence on events. It doesn't mean best person, it means biggest mover and shaker. Hitler was Person Of The Year!

I sent them this quote and kindly explained he was non-intervention, not isolationist.
"At the same time, we must not isolate ourselves. The generosity of the American people has been felt around the globe. Many have thanked God for it, in many languages. Let us have a strong America, conducting open trade, travel, communication, and diplomacy with other nations. "

Except in 2001 when they chose the Ghoul instead of OBL. Cowards.
