Todd Rundgren Mocks Huckabee Christmas Ad

I just came back from seeing Todd Rundgren at Toad's Place in New Haven

Great show, needless to say.

I was sitting right in front of the stage, about fifteen feet from Todd. Between songs, when it was relatively quiet, I yelled: "RON PAUL!!"

Todd heard me. He took a sip from his bottle on stage and thought for a second.

He then started talking about Schmuckabee's Christmas ad. Here is the gist of what he said:

"Mike Huckabee's got this new ad. This being the Christmas season. Have you seen it? It's not like he's trying to reach any particular people in Iowa who may be... oh... well he's just: 'Christmas, Christmas, Christmas! CHRISTMAS! CHRISTMAS!!'... OK MIKE!"

He then said he planned on offending more people during the night, but he didn't mention anything political at all after that.

Todd would be a cool VP!

I've seen him three times. Once in Pontiac, MI at the Silver Dome. Once at a little club here in Jacksonville and once when he played guitar for Ringo Starr's All Stars also here in Jax.

How cool it would be for Todd to come out for Paul...
