Do you ever wonder why you are an American?
Why are you here, right now?
How did you end up not being in China, or India?
Only 1/20 people are born in America.
How did you become obsessed with something that could be dangerous.
Why couldn't you just be one of those people who could care less?
Why are you dedicating so much time to lost causes, fighting city hall?
Is it really important?

I'm an American because the person I love was born in the United States, and because I've fallen in love with the principles contained in the documents on which this nation was founded.

Not really.
Where else would I be?
My parents lived here.
Not really true; implies all countries have same life expectancy
Live free or die
I know too much
If you don't fight for anything, you'll have nothing worth fighting for
Probably. We don't know yet. But we hope so.

Because my ancestors believed in the dream of the US of A enough to uproot and move here. I doubt they would have done the same if this country was as it is today.

I imagine at least some years of my life will be spent in a different country.
