It's ironic that Larry Abraham is on the same side as necon D'Souza. Abraham was the author of one of the first political books I ever read, "None Dare Call It Conspiracy". The book was pretty good. It was basically a Birch Society type book. It definitely changed the way I looked at things. As a double irony, while the book was aimed at the more hard-core conservatives, it actually pushed me in the libertarian direction.

I would imagine that Larry Abraham supports Dr. Paul.

You would think. But what is he doing on D'Souza's (whom I can't stand) side? Casey is an anarchist (I'm not sure if he's the non-voting kind) so I'm willing to bet he will be Paul's side.

So it appears they have

Casey and D'Souza both on the extreme ends (anarcho-capitalist vs. neoco(M))

And then Paul and Abraham taking up the middle w/ paul closer to Casey and Abraham closer to D'Souza........

Is this an accurate assessment?

It says libertarians vs. conservatives. What you're forgetting is that Dr. Paul is a libertarian-conservative. I doubt Abraham has much of a beef with Dr. Paul's stances at all. Unless he's changed a great deal, he's certainly not a neocon. D'Souza is another thing entirely.

I just noticed that C-Span will be there on one day to cover several of the presentations for C-Span Book TV, but they won't be there the next day to cover Ron Paul's debate.

After all, he's just a candidate for President of the United States.

Yet they're covering rallies for Hillary and Romney in the next day.

Somebody on another thread mentioned that C-SPAN promised to covered the Las Vegas speech.

C-Span might not be invited. This is not a public event - people paid a lot of money to get into the events all weekend.

A year and a half later after the OP asked, here it is...

http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul406.html <--- VIDEO compilation of Freedom Fest 07

This occurred around the same time RP had just launched his presidential exploratory committee. Very interesting, lively, and intelligent debate. I wish they would air this stuff on network TV.
