Although I believe this was a very fair interview, I think Dr. Paul should have challenged Glen Beck for stating in the past that Ron Paul supporters are a danger to America. Glen Beck has stated that "Another Timothy McVeigh will come out of the Ron Paul Supporters" and he also stated that the US Military should be used against such people.
Mr. Beck 'tucked his tail' IMO by pretending to agree with everything that Ron Paul believes in, when in fact he has proven in the past to not. I see this interview as a way for Glen Beck to try to increase his audience with Paul supporters that would not give him the time of day in the past - writing him off as a Neo-Con (which I truly believe he is).
I do believe that all Ron Paul supporters should write an email to Mr. Beck's show, thanking him for a full hour of prime time television and a fair interview. We are all quick to bombard news outlets when they lie about Ron Paul, we should be quick to bombard them with praise when they are honest and fair.

I watched the interview on tv which is rare, but I mostly did it because I didn't want to come here and influence my perspective.

And I can say, without a doubt, it was a fantastic interview. Beck asked relevant questions and for the most part let the good Dr. explain his viewpoints. And yes, he did ask about the conspiracy nuts, and Paul handled it perfectly.

I've spoken to people that were on the fence or at least curious about Paul and they have said that he is saying a lot of things that they think.

Beck never asked dumb ass questions like:
~ Will you run as an independent?
~ Who will you endorse if you don't get the Republican nomination?
~ Do you really think you will win?

AFA the 9/11 Q's and life threat video, I see it like this:
If I was Beck, and I actually did have the life of myself and my family threatened by someone who claims to be a follower of a a certain man[in this case, Dr. Paul], I would think the best way to defend myself against the deranged person would be to have that leader come on the air and distance himself from the movement and then to send a strong message of anti-violence.

If the video really was as Beck said, then I think Beck's move in the above scenario is a rather brilliant move to defend himself and his family while giving Dr. Paul and his core base a chance to show that this person is not representative of the movement. Additionally, in Beck's defense, he prefaced that segment by praising the majority base of Dr. Paul supporters, including the ones he has met on the road.

Great interview, let's hope this sets the tone for Dr. Paul being considered as a top tier candidate by the MSM. Just give the man a chance to be heard. Once you do, most honest hearted people seem to be drawn to his message of Freedom.

QFT. I believe beck really has got some death threats, it might even be what prompted him to get dr paul on for the full hour and be so fair. Regardless, it is not cool for us to do things like that, but it was a good move from beck to let ron paul answer and give him a fair interview. Paul supporters will be kinder to him from here on out I should guess.

Beck showed great restraint. The questions were tough but fair. Ron handled it all in fine style though without the same flair he showed on American Morning or Morning Joe.

Great interview. I think Beck's criticism of Paul's a small minority of Paul fans (death threats, 9/11 truthers) is right on the money. He let Paul speak on the middle east and Paul did amazing. Beck did well tonight.

I guess I've got to be the old curmudgeon here. I think that is one of the worst interviews I've seen. Since I've never really watched Glenn Beck (not having a T.V. really does pay off in the long run) I don't that much about his "normal" shtick, but he struck me as being a very subtle Bill O'Reilly. He cut Ron Paul short several times, he tried to steer some of his answers to extremes then changed the subject to leave the perceived negativity hanging and came off rather snarky in his tone.

I think Ron Paul handled it very well, as he always does and I'm glad he did get more time to explain his positions, but the package it all came in left a bad taste in my mouth.

The interview was great but there was a slight delay in the feeds back and forth between Glen and Ron. You could hear the echo in the background. This made Ron seem like he was hesitant with some of his answers even though he wasn't and the dialogue was stilted because of this fact. I really wish Ron Paul could had made it into the studio. It would have made the interview way better, though I'm till pretty happy with it.

I think the interview was great. The most painful part was the 911 stuff, and I have to say Beck was fair in terming those who threatened him as "doing so in Ron Paul's name" rather than "som e of your supporters". Overall, excellent, but again, I wish we didn't have to deal with the conspiracy theorists trying to tag their agenda onto the Paul campaign.

i didn't really like the interview. Glenn spoke as if he actually had some authority and was more than just a talking head. I don't think he set up Ron Paul or any of that crap though. But there was something pretty awkward about the whole interview. It wasn't a normal conversation. I also think Ron Paul came off as tired and grumpy. I've seen him do a lot better in interviews. I'm not sure if he's just tired or was prepared for Glenn to give him sh*t, but he didn't come off as friendly.
