Poll

I'm asking because I think it's an interesting question, not because I think you SHOULD thank him. I added this cause some hothead gave this thread 1 star.

No. I will probably just get it at the library.

Give your money to the RP campaign. If you must buy a book, buy one of Dr. Paul's, not Beck's book.

No, I'll take that money and donate it to Ron Paul on Glen's behalf.

Sure. I'm getting Ron Paul's new book when it comes out too. People who have the dissenting opinion deserve to have their voice heard more often than not.

I said I would if it was a good interview. I might not read it though.:D

Not to thank him. I may buy it, but, yeah, not for that reason... Thought it was a good interview though, and I'll probably shoot him an e-mail to thank him.

He is a neo-con who supports the War in Iraq, openly states that we should give up our freedom and rights for security, supports the War on Drugs, and has said in the past that we are terrorists.

I do NOT support him and I will NOT purchase his book!

Sheesh...the guy just gave Dr. Paul to fairest shake from the MSM he's gotten to date and you scoff and the idea of purchasing his book?.

I just bought the 5000 Year Leap and An Inconvenient Book on Amazon.

HAHAHAHAHA

Glenn Beck remains a complete idiot. Nothing he says or does or thinks matters.

Nope.

To show that I watched his program though I will purchase "The Law" since Dr. Paul mentioned it and it's supposed to be one of the best books ever.

His book is actually pretty good. If the cover were blank and you didn't know who wrote it, you'd be nodding allong with most of the text.

Maybe I will. I watched Beck's show every day and listen to his "Ask Glenn" podcast when it started last year. I still watch it occasionally.

Despite all the naysayers, Beck isn't an angry talking head akin to O'reilly. As this interview showed, Glenn and Dr. Paul agree on a lot. My big issue with Glenn Beck is his alarmism, but if you can get past that he's not so bad.

So, I'll probably get his book(s) eventually. I've got a lot of other things to read right now.

Yes.I scoff heartily and with much gusto. Amazing that my memory of his insults and who he bent knee to goes back farther than three hours ago.

Maybe... The interview was great, but I'm waiting a week before sending any praise or even consider buying his book. I haven't watched his show much, but he strikes me as the type of guy that will praise somebody and be really nice to them while they're on his show, only to bad mouth them a few days later when they aren't there to defend themselves.

If he is at least fair to Ron Paul for the next week or 2, I'll probably buy his book... it does look good.

I dont think we should overly thank a man for doing his job. A pat on the back maybe, but who thanks Bus drivers for driving the bus? Its what they are suppose to do!

Glenn Beck is a college dropout and a former drug abuser.

There are about 10,000 books I would have to read before I'd waste my time reading his book.

And if I want to read a book by a drug abuser I'd much rather read Hunter S. Thompson, Timothy Leary, Ken Kesey, or any number of other superior writers.

One reasonable interview barely gets him close to even after calling me a terrorist.

No, but I was inclined to check out 5000 Year Leap. It seems very interesting, so I wrote it down. Once I'm done with the Blowback trilogy, I'll check it out.
