I just put together this site:

http://www.MoneyFight07.com

I know many of you say it's too early for another money-bomb. I realize it is early however I'm not saying we need another $6mil day. What we need is to take on Huckabee, the poll leader, directly and get Dr. Paul's name in all that Huckabee publicity. Wired has already picked this up and you know with all the fame Huck is getting now it will be all over. Let's get Ron Paul into all that coverage and turn this into a Paul Vs. Huckabee fund-raising battle. Let's take some of those poll numbers away from him, hey we have nothing to lose.

Here's the wired article:

Huckabee is NOT the #1 contender.

He is only ahead in the BS polls that say Alan Keyes is tied with Ron Paul.

Meh, enough money bombs for this month.

It could be fun but I doubt we will get press for it.

I think it's a great idea.

personally, I find it repugnant that these two are even on the same webpage together.

This is lame, not enough time, for all we know they've been planning this for ages and will win this, then the media will have something to spin.

Why are you wasting time with Huckabee?

Huckabee is that skier, skiing down in front of an avalanche.......everything is going okay.....he's going down the mountain......but the avalanche is gonna get him and it "ain't gonna be pretty".

This is a bad idea. Right now, Ron Paul doesn't need more money. Huckabee needs it badly. All this competition will do is prove to the huckabee crowd something they already know all the while providing motivation for them to raise badly needed cash for huckabee.

If you want to help this sick neo con get some cash by all means go forward with it.

When Wired published the original infamous spam-bots article all the mass media picked it up about 2 days later. Since the MSM is tripping over themselves to get stuff about Huckabee in their articles and programs I'm sure they'll pick up on this too.

While I agree it might boost Huckabee w/ money the fact of the matter is that Dr. Paul has a ton to gain if they are going up against each other. Especially in Paul's playground: the internet.

Thanks for any feedback, I appreciate it.

You should have ask the community their opinion before setting this up. It's too early. Many supporters are cash-strapped and Money Bomb have the disavantage of distracting people from others type of effort. One money Bomb per month is enough.

Ron Paul is already the champion. Why risking the title? I recommend cancelling that.

competetive money bombs are far better than normal money bombs.

Huckabee will soon be an also-ran and we're wasting precious time and resources organizing a pointless "MoneyFight". Spend that money on buying campaign materials to hand out.

nobody cares if we raise more than huckabee on a day.

I vote for no more moneybombs and deciding a few days before 31st if we can reach 20 million. but I think the official campaign will set up something like that. they did last quarter.

I smell a setup......

We don't need this imo.

What's the real goal here? To make sure that no Huckabee supporters look at Ron Paul because they are so agitated by us?

my money bomb idea is the same

$31 for the 31st of december.

if we get all 60,000 people that donated on the teaparty to donate $31 (which isn't a lot of money) we'd have a $1.86M money bomb, enough to set Paul clear over the 20M mark... i think we can do it for New Years'

This is a bad idea. Bad, bad, bad.

It won't work.
