I was searching thru domain names, kinda thinking along the lines of this guy, and found:
http://rudy2008.org/ he has the .net also.
I haven't contacted him yet, but maybe he's a Ron Paul supporter who might want to help the cause.
I'm a bit wiped out, so feel free to contact him before I do.

The owner should post a hit site or sell them to the campaign and send proceeds to a REAL candidate.

I just purchased: dontvote4.us
Not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet, but for $6, why not. ;)

Talk about smart investing...

Don't know about smart investing, but maybe a way around a funding issue.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone with a bunch of cash who has already maxed out their $2300 donation limit were to buy a domain name from someone who is still $2000 under their limit for $2000, there shouldn't be anything preventing that person from donating the $2000 profit from the sale of that domain, correct?
If I don't get inspired with designing a good website for the name, I might just sell it on Ebay with a note that the proceeds will be donated to the Ron Paul campaign.

I think that is skating very close to the edge of illegality. I think any prior understanding (especially if combined with an inflated price, or an exceptional profit) about where the funds will be spent, would open you to investigation (never a fun prospect) by the FEC. They would want to claim that anything over and above "fair value" for the domain name would in reality be a gift from the "Buyer" to you, with the "prior understanding" that you were to act as a strawman donor.
Not saying you would be found in violation or anything, just saying it will get you (and your buyer) the hairy-eyeball treatment.
But I really don't see how this would be any different than having a garage sale with the stated goal of donating to a particular candidate. As long as you are below your contribution limits, I think you can fund your contribution from any source.
Later.

Your probably right about the legallity issue, not to mention capitol gains tax for turning $6 into $2000, and all those other goodies.
I've got the basic framework up for http://dontvote4.us and will be killing the weekend coming up with content and making it pretty.
If you have any good reasons not to vote for certain candidates, you can PM me or just stick em here.
I either need coffee or sleep before I do much more editing on that page for now tho.
Any profits from either the sale of the site or the google ads will of course be used to further The Revolution.

That picture of Hillary has always struck me as odd. There is no way that uh...errr... that plump face fits on that skinny body. It looks Photoshopped to me.

I think your right about the photoshopping.
I got the pics from Wikipedia.org and they are all the official senate pics.
Looking at the full size pic at:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/dd/Hillary_Rodham_Clinton.jpg
you can see that they photoshopped her eyes, see the white circles that make her look almost like a charector in a Japanese animation flick, so they could have easily shrunk down her body at the same time.
I also noticed in the pic how she is covering up her wedding ring. lol.
Anyways, I must sleep.

Here's a good reason not to vote for Fred Thompson:

He was a nixon spy and spins it to brag about his role in watergate on his campaign site.
