trying to convert a socialist towards accepting a free market is like trying to get a vegan to eat a hamburger.

The website is horrible, anyway. You can scroll forever and not get to the bottom.

all publicity is good publicity.
they have NOTHING on Paul.. thats probably why they wont mention him, he has no skeletons in the closet, his platform and record are impeccable, and he's the nicest guy ever.

uhmmm. she is a socialist. Why would we EVEN CARE. This is a republic. They wouldn't support anybody who didn't believe in handouts, big nanny government, and mediocrity.

I have completly lost faith in the left. I'm pissed of at so-called progressives who are too trustworthty of government.

Thank God for Ron Paul, if it wasn't for him I would still think the free market is evil. I can't believe that I even tried to accept the socialist ideology. These people are really getting on my nerves.

Not all vegans are socialists my friend. I am a vegan and I am fighting for Ron.

I think you missed the point. :p It's an analogy, he never said vegans are socialists.

But I have converted a socialist. He is a liberty type first, a socialist 2nd. You won't convince people who are socialists 1st, but if they have higher priorities you can. We are stripping away the socialist base, really.

And my mom is mildly socialist - but now she is a Ron Paul supporter. As time goes on she will gradually lose her support of big government.

the fetishism of individualism that underlies libertarianism leads to the denial of rights to the very people most radicals aim to champion-workers, immigrants, Blacks, women, gays, and any group that lacks the economic power to impose their individual rights on others.
As a white heterosexual male, I apologize for ruining the viability of libertarianism in the US. WHY MUST I BE SO INHERENTLY POWERFUL!? :(

I think it is always good news when we are attacked by socialists. Why is she not attacking other candidates? Hmm good news indeed.

I think you missed the point. Can I interest you in a hamburger? Do you think you could interest a socialist in Ron Paul?

Lol, what do you expect from a socialist???

I like how she draws the conclusion that because Ron does not think the federal government should be establishing a "minimum wage" he is "against blacks and minorities."

WTF? Where in the Constitution does it say the federal gov has any right to establish a "minimum wage"??

These people are so far gone they miss the whole point.

I thought it might have been meant as an analogy with some sort of philosophic connection. :)

Justin Raimondo has a good editorial exposing the hypocrisy of this attack.

You obviously didn't quite catch the American humor..it surely was not a slur on vegans..

Would you be talked into eating a hamburger?

That is how easy the writer said that a socialist would accept a free market--or read the constitution, I guess. That post of hers was literally reekingly against the Constitution! No wonder it was against our Ron.

Joshua Frank, a Leftist at Counterpunch, refuted this attack as well. He and Scott Horton (KAOS/Antiwar Radio FTW!) also discuss it in this EXCELLENT interview from the Scott Horton show. I suggest everybody read the article and listen to the interview. You should all be listening to the likes of Scott Horton and Charles Goyette as much as you can already :p

Antiwar Left Should Look Beyond Democrats (http://www.antiwar.com/frank/)

Antiwar Radio: Joshua Frank (http://www.scotthortonshow.com/2007/12/13/antiwar-radio-joshua-frank-3/)

Basically, Wolf is a myopic power believer and doesn't "get it". Her failure is Kerry's failure, a myopic refusal to entertain the idea that the antiwar movement isn't confined purely to the Democratic Left.

Obviously a socialist is going to attack Ron paul. They want to control people. Simple as that.

labels are useless,

look at Eminem. ALL publicity is good publicity.

he was the hottest thing since sliced bread( was it really all that great?) and he is only unpopular right now based on his own lack of new material and unwillingness to be a star ala Kurt Cobain.

The fact that this "socialist" hates Paul, is just more fuel for the fire when real conservatives look into him. It makes us look good. We all know her knowledge is mainly without merit, baseless, and not supported by statistical information.

Regardless don't give her traffic, or the glory of being recognized by this great body.
