Paul McCartney.
I wonder if it's a subtle jab...

The Republican candidate likened the dissection of his Christmas campaign ad to rumors that Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash at the height of the Beatles popularity and replaced by a doppelganger, and that subtle clues were placed inside the group's music for years to come.

That would be the only connection I would draw considering all the possible "hidden messages" in various media (e.g. Stairway to Heaven sounding rather demonic when played backwards).

Huckabee is a sick, twisted monster. Remember when he wished that all of his competitors who raised more money than him would commit sucide by slitting their wrists in a warm tub of water? He wants Ron Paul dead and this proves it. Mike Huckabee is even more twisted than his animal torturing son!

Can't really say I'm surprised considering Huckabee Jr's history of torturing and killing animals...

I actually thought it was kind of funny.
its a subtle jab alright. pretty stupid and unfunny.

Huckabee was asked if his language crossed the line between faith and politics: "Absolutely not," he said. Huckabee went on to joke, to the delight of the reporters in the room, "I will confess this; if you play the spot backwards it says 'Paul is dead, Paul is dead, Paul is dead.'"
So now Huckabee is making a death threat?

My comment:
Voting for a "Christian President" is as insane as supporting the "Christian Militia".
What Huck is really trying to say here is that HE was the walrus.
Just look at his older pictures holding that bass guitar...GOO GOO GOO JOOB!

Perhaps it was Paul McCartney, but I 'm sure Huck knew exactly what he was doing when he contrived this statement. Despicable.

I'm kind of surprised that Huckabee knows who the Beatles were. I wonder which of his campaign advisers came up with that joke?

Has anyone actually read the article? This has nothing to do with Ron Paul.

I don't see what is funny about his joke.

I think freud may have something to say about that statement.

"That was a book shelf behind me, a book shelf," Huckabee told reporters while campaigning in Houston, Texas.
His campaign said it was a window behind him. Which one is it? I think it is pretty trivial actually, but the Huckster will ride it into the ground.

I know he was referring to Paul McCartney, but Huckabee is a smart guy: clearly, he meant it as a double-entendre.

Huck is going down in flames and he's starting to really lose it. This thing about his son and the dog has really hit him in the gut. He's reeling right now.

Although I don't think Huckabee knows what a double entendre is, I think he used it very well.
We could very easily take this as a threat or as an order to his supporters, especially with the rumor mill going on and on about threats against Paul already.
I don't think that's what he meant but if you're running for President you really need to think about stuff before you run off at the mouth like this.
that's one really morbid sense of humor...
No kidding, that guy must have haunted house music playing in his head.

I too have a morbid sense of humor, personally thought it was a funny joke. But then again, there is no way I'll ever get to be President, nor should I? Since when did people dying, gun rampages and suicide become popular jokes again?
Can someone send me the memo?

the huckster knew what he was doing and what he was saying. hope someone asks Ron Paul about it and he responds with something like: "spoken like someone that truly wishes they had a (political) life." but I bet he can come up with something better than my suggested response.

Th big fat one, who obviously has issues of personal appearance due to his parents inability to curb his gluttony decided to take out his fat assed woes on a stray animal and cut its throat and stoned it to death. Musta been a sinner in this punks eyes. I got a good right cross for his jaw.
