Here's what I wrote after his article from late last month.

Dear Mr. Searcy,

I just read your article on Ron Paul from June 3rd, that is posted on your website.
I?m totally appalled at your lack of knowledge on Ron Paul, and your obvious slander.
I suggest next time you do your homework before writing an article, especially about someone who is VERY popular right now on the Internet.
I expect your mailbox will be full tomorrow.

And the day after. And the day after that.

I suggest reading this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Paul

His reply came in today.

I apologize for missing your email and not responding earlier.

Slander? I've heard nothing from the Paul campaign accussing me of slander and they've read my article because I sent it to them. Would you want to know why I've heard nothing .. because there isn't a damn thing in there that's not true.

Perhaps you should do some homework yourself before jumping in. I'll be happy to share my extensive research with on this if you choose to see it .. as I have with others who've written me. But you don't sound like someone too interested in research, facts, or documentation. You think on-line polls are meaningful.

Go here .. read this from today.

If you still have questions I'll be more than happy to answer them.

Can you believe this guy?!?!?

here's his email addy.

This is the guy who used to work for Cynthia McKinney, right? She is very supportive of Dr. Paul personally.

I don't know who this F'ing donk is....but he wrote an article on June 25th about Ron Paul saying that he's a racist, etc. Which we all know is wrong....and I let him have it..and he finally bothered to reply.

Well, I'm not happy.....so I let him have it.

Gee Dick,

I actually have done my homework. I can assure you it’s been more than you have on Dr. Paul.
That being said, referring to the link you provided, it’s obvious you disregarded the link I provided you and didn’t bother to read it.
So in hind sight, you send me a story stating the same thing as you.

Great…well, I guess if you look long enough, and considering it took you 12 days to reply to my original response…wait long enough, you’ll be able to find an article that coincides with your blatantly uniformed ‘journalism’. (and I use that loosely)

Go ahead and reply. I got all day.

Try being a journalist and not a puppet.

Your best buddy,
Chris

Well if Richard did any research himself he would have found what FMNN found.

I don't know about her personally, but when I used to live in Atlanta years back, she was horrible...

Yes, I've heard about the gall of that woman, demanding that Donald Rumsfeld answer her questions!

perhaps we should be a bit more, um, calm. I understand the frustration here, but this can cause some "blowback."

is it that hard to imagine anti-paul media twisting our angry letters into a story that reads "Ron Paul's supporters are vitriolic and threatening spammers" ?

I would imagine there is more to know about her than just that one soundbyte.

According to sources on Capitol Hill, U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) punched a Capitol police officer on Wednesday afternoon after he mistakenly pursued her for failing to pass through a metal detector.

NOW I REMEMBER who that cynthia McKinney is, from what I remember she didn't have an id card, and when a cop tried to stop her to check her identity she punched him and tried to barrel her way through

If the guy wants to be a real journalist, I'd like to see him prove or disprove that the source in Thompson's article really exists. Also, is that the article that Capitol Hill Blue pulled?
