Easily the most positive MSM story I've read on Ron Paul to date.
Very, very encouraging. Keep your noses clean people. This is the type of stuff we want people to write and read.

Unlike CNN, which continually makes the error of stating that John Kerry still holds the record, CBS comes out and says RP has it in the first paragraph!
Hooray for good reporting! This just might be contagious.

Outstanding article. I never thought I would read something like that coming from a guy who works for CBS...

Guys this is it!!!! I've read a dozen articles today that treat RP as a serious contender:
Paul could well end up raising more than any of the other Republican contenders and providing the only serious competition for Democratic money leaders Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
This shocker statement today, will also guarrantee that he's on every news story for several days. The Dec. 16th is the turning stone, and all the stars are aligning. Next 2 weeks we go to the moon, just watch.

This is a good article. Here's a key quote:
"Paul could well end up raising more than any of the other Republican contenders and providing the only serious competition for Democratic money leaders Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. "
Ron has more money than all the others. So for that, and many other reasons, he is the best chance the GOP has at beating Hillary/Obama.

I love this line at the end!
"and that is changing the politics of a country that needs every new approach to altering a corrupt and dysfunctional status quo."

Does anyone know what ever happened to the Ron Paul campaign footage? Are they ever going to cover this?

Interestingly enough, it's from The Nation, a liberal publication.

Hmmm, weird, the article is from The Nation but their front-page (http://www.thenation.com/) doesn't have it.
Anyway, it's nice to see the "independent left" admit the establishment-driven nature of Kerry's fundraising record and Paul's leapfrogging of it on Sunday. They could make the case that Kerry's number was higher due to inflation, but bringing attention to that would only help Ron Paul. ;)

Awesome article! We need to keep up the good work! I really have a good feeling about Ron Paul winning the presidential election! We just have to get the word out. Even if it's just on the internet. How many people use the internet these days? For god sake, my grandparents even do.

From fringe to hopeful, from flake to historic figure who may alter politics. Finally something that's not garbage. Two thumbs up.
