Is it possible someone could set up a site that lists candidates state by state who follow in the footsteps of Ron Paul? If he is going to be president he is going to be in serious need of other elected officials who are 'Ron Paul friendly'. If we are to elect Ron Paul, or if Ron Paul looses, we cannot stop. We must elect a government piece by piece that reflects his values and message.
I do not have the resources or the time to do this, but hope that this idea becomes the focal point of our movement. This is not going to be over for a long long time regardless of what happens in 2008. We need a place to co-ordinate and share information about state and local candidates that are 'electable' in our eyes. We need 'Ron Paul republicans' in office. We need to support and finance their campaigns. We need to organize and work for them too.
Maybe there are some among us, members or organizers of meetups that would be willing to carry the torch for new generations.
