Yesterday the Lou Dobbs program talked about the voting machine problems that can be hacked and have problems. They were talking about the voting machines early in 2007 but stopped a little bit after that and then all the way up until just yesterday. Which is possibly too late.

They always talk about how the machines can be hacked but they never talk about how the machines could simply be pre-programmed with a nice little software code to fix the election.

Anyway what i'd like to know is if there are any plans to stop voting machines and going back to hand counting like they did just 8 years ago.

Please post all stories and lawsuit discussions here for each state about what is going on or if some states will be paper ballots again.

Thanks

At minimum, each voting place needs to do some sort of test election on the machines of at least 25 of 50 votes, then tally them up and see if it matches before they do the real voting. Just to make sure the numbers look right. Like the small test vote they did at the end of "hacking democracy".....
