Oh really?

Because www.ronpaul2008.com is the first result you get when you type in Ron Paul into Google.

The first result is "News results for Ron Paul". Where's the problem?

I agree, it's horrible that people might see all the other positive websites about Ron Paul.

It works fine for me. Not that we could change the banners now anyways.. lol. Funny post

I've long thought it would be better to say "YouTube Ron Paul"

I think Hope For America is better but people aren't as easily understandable of campaigns slogans as they should be.

Hell, I'm guilty as well because I still can't figure out what Obama's "Change we can believe in!" is supposed to mean. . .

Google LOVES Ron Paul. The most donations came from Google workers. No joke.

There are literally 100s of Ron Paul domain names (http://bbs.freetalklive.com/index.php?topic=17759) ran by supporters out there (not counting sub-domain blogs), and when I checked last month I could only find one serious attack site. I don't think there's much of a risk of a successful Google-bombing of the search term "Ron Raul".

Maybe something wrong with your browser..or you could be using that new troll extension for firefox.

You're the same guy who started this thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=58486):
I heard a lot about people giving out slim jims but what if the person doesn't eat meet?

Not going to happen anytime soon. But you already knew that.

I just hope Google doesn't sue for genericizing its brand name.

Google is a verb now that is listed in Websters... if used as such there can not be any legal recourse.

The Blimp guys have a team of lawyers...they are on top of it. ;)

The potential Dems will overlook a Republican labeled message. We want to hook them with ideas.

The only thing above the campaign's website in my browser is Google News links. Google does that with searches for all the candidates, as well as for other searches that might be tied in to the news somehow.

The blimp should only say:

"Ron Paul for President"

or

"Vote Ron Paul"

or something of that nature so that people know why his name is up there.

People are turned off by politics. The blimp's current message sparks curiosity.

For those still pushing this anyway, I don't think its possible or feasible to change the banners now. At the beginning of the 2nd month maybe, but we have to get there financially first. And hopefully the blimp crew will wake up and seek our input this time.

I can totally understand why they would not ask this group. I probably would not either, no offense.

Certain people would post nonstop that anything but their idea is crazy.

Better just to do it and move on. Plus I think there ideas were great. It has an action that it is calling for and a good nonpartisan idea that probably wont get them sued.
