Ammo for Paul's Anti-war stance

Some may change their minds on the war, after they listen to this 60 minutes interview:

The war was planned months in advance, and its basis is obviously oil...the interview pretty much makes this claim impossible to denounce.

I've found that this tactic works.

If someone tells you they are for the war ask them to state the war's objectives. Most of the objectives eg getting rid of Saddam, WMDs, etc have been met.

They will be left to say they want Iraq to be a free democratic state. Then you say that you, like George W. Bush oppose nationbuilding abroad with US tax dollars for two reasons:

a. It doesn't work; it only makes them resent us and prolongs the point in time when they must be responsible for their own destiny.
b. We can't afford it. We have the largest debt of any nation in the world. We also have problems at home we can't afford to take care of. Charity begins at home.
