On Sunday many people who have never heard of Ron Paul will hear and see Ron Paul for the first time. Some of them will go onto the Internet to search for more information and will be forming impressions for the first time.

There are a few steps to making this successful:
1) Get as many people as you can to watch This Week and ask them to explore listening to his views and beliefs asking them to think about them. Remember Ron's message does not always converte to an immediate I want to vote for him because what they are listening to is so foriegn to them.
2) It's important that we put forth assets that quickly and precisely explain why we like and support Ron's message in a positive way. Pretend you didn't know Ron again - what would convince you to learn more? All we need to do is get people to learn more. Ron's messages will take car of the vast majority who engage. :D
3) It's important that speeches like his 5/22 CSPAN Google Video speech be front and center.
4) It's important that message boards and blogs are free of digg whining and conspiracy theories that day. We do not want this to be the impression of a first time visitor.

Did I miss anything?

Every effort should be made (i don't know how to do this) to direct first time visitors to this forum to the 'strategies for success' and 'campaign materials' forums. news and discussion would be over the head for a first introduction.

get em to freeme.tv and dailypaul and HQ

This could be the breakthrough. ABC is as mainstream as it gets. I love the demographic, older people!

This Week has 2.66 million viewers, which is more than any of the previous debates!!

Tuesday’s two-hour debate was viewed by 2.06 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research live plus same-day ratings, making it the second-largest audience for the season’s GOP showcases, trailing FNC’s 2.55 million.

For the first Republican debate (May 3), MSNBC drew 1.76 million viewers, of which 561,000 fell into the news demo.

That pdf needs to be widely distributed Saturday to people to get new people to watch it.

The campaign also needs to update the main site to accurately say - check your local listings.

Can someone do this?

If people see him on ABC and like what they hear, they will look for more info on him. No doubt that this will help to bring in more general support.
