Proclaimed that Huckabee is going to get the "nom". He obviously got swept in by Huckabee's charm, but knows little to nothing about him, or the rest of the candidates. Just a week and a half ago he saw me writing "Ron Paul" on the rear window of my bus and asked "Who's that?" to which I replied, The next president of the United States." His response: "He's running?" Me: "Yep! Google him!"
Anyway, today I asked him if he googled Ron Paul and he replied, "Huckabee baby! He's going to get the nom! Ron Paul is outta there."
I said, "Ron Paul raised over 6 million dollars yesterday."
His response: [blank stare] "Ahh... Huckabee is going to win."
Me: "Do you want him to win?"
Him: "Yeah, sure!"
Me: "You haven't seen all the dirt on him yet, have you?"
Him: [blank stare]
*End of conversation*
So tonight I anticipate that he'll go learn more about each candidate. He'll probably want to see if Ron Paul REALLY raised 6 million dollars. He'll want to see if Huckabee really has a lot of skeletons in his closet.
Tomorrow I will ask him again, "Do any interesting googling yesterday?"
