The MSM says it's all about left vs. right, and we know that doesn't fit us. The Nolan Chart adds a second dimension, Libertarian vs. Statist, or big government vs. small government. Answer 10 quick questions at this link: http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html

Then pick your rating in the poll.

Here's my Nolan Chart. I think it also matches Dr. Paul.

Surprisingly, although we may think the questions are biased, it's more our biases showing through. I've had friends of all types take the test, and they've ended up all over the map.

Some people think those ideas are bogus. One good friend came in at 30% - 30%, and he believes that's the proper position for government. I don't like his politics at all, I think he's a fascist, but we get along fine as long as we don't talk politics.

I picked Libertarian, but I lean more anarcho-capitalist.

Yeah, the extreme upper point is really more anarcho-capitalist, but they don't label it that way on the chart. I think because it freaks some people out enough to find out they are Libertarian. If they found out they were anarcho-capitalists, they would probably put themselves in jail. :D
