My dad who is a Hillary supporter was watching ABC News and he saw how Ron Paul raised 6 million dollars. I've been trying to get him to switch parties from Democrat to Republican and support Ron Paul but he said no and said he likes Hillary. Well after finally seeing how he raised 6 million dollars, he is going to go Republican and vote for Ron Paul!!

the money speaks people :D they know that Ron Paul is not a joke but a serious candidate! there are masses of people that are waiting to be converted. It is just that many don't see Ron Paul as a serious candidate...... yet. The better the first elections will end for RP, the more supporters will join the revolution!

I'll take the vote, although I don't understand the reasoning.

I think its also because he knows that the Democrats lost all there delegates here in Florida, but the Republicans have only lost half.

I'm sorry but.... Your father's an idiot. People shouldn't switch their views just because someone raises money....

Remember that a lot of people just want anything but a Republican next time. They can see that Ron Paul is different but of course "he can't win" as we all know.

He didn't think that he had a chance until he saw the success of the Tea Party.

well done

we need to talk to more democrats and people

the democrats are a confused bunch right now. once they realise the depth and vision of ron paul's ideas they will switch. Obama's ideas are bureaucrstic compared to Dr Paul's.

Yeah! Way to encourage new supporters. Let's insult everyone until they hate us Ron Supporters so much, they will never vote for the doctor.

I think a guy who can blow out fundraising numbers while getting small donations from thousands of regular folks is something special. Lots of politicians raise money, but nobody has ever done it in the way Ron Paul has in this race.

It's like Cafferty said, instead of talking about who Lieberman endorsed, maybe we should be talking about who the people endorsed with their wallets.

Unfortunately, this is the battle that we are facing. And it is quite depressing. People vote for the fu***ng strangest reasons. Ideology? I don't think so. It's tragic and it's an epidemic throughout the country. :(

I'm sorry but.... Your father's an idiot. People shouldn't switch their views just because someone raises money.... Abobo I have been out campaigning for Dr. Paul for a couple monthes now and you should here some of the reasons I have heard for why people vote for whom they do and why people won't vote for Ron.

example:

1. I see your Paul supporter, yes I am I reply who are you considering? Oh they reply I am voting for Hillary because she is a woman. ..............................?????????

2. I won't vote for Ron Paul because he does not support the war. Reply well you do realize we cannot keep affording this war as well as Afghanistan and others looming it will bankrupt this country. Answer- Well I would rather be bankrupt than stop fighting them muslim terrorists. .....................?????????????????

3. I will be voting for Obama because he is black and he understands us. ....................??????????????

4. I will not be voting for Ron Paul he will legalize drugs and that is not good for this country. .......................??????????????????????????

I'll take the kids dads vote!

I convinced my parents to, but I think they are basically voting for him because I seem well informed and they just want me to shut up. I don't care as long as they vote for him.

Most of the other candidates supporters are not very committed. Anything can get them to stop supporting them or switch.

And I think RP can pull from any campaign. Hillary really is not that liberal. Scary but not so liberal.
