This site tends to attract neo-cons. Most have answered the poll negatively:

"Things are going from better to even better in Iraq."

I read that and clicked out of that site as fast as I could.

Why would you link to something that retarded?

To be fair, he has a pretty nice article of Paul written further down the page. Obviously he doesn't agree with a lot of Paul's positions, but he doesn't write Dr. Paul off as a kook, and paints a picture of him as an honorable man full of integrity.

If ya'll are tired of the Old Media playbook, it's time for us to be heard. Go to http://www.blitzthemedia.com/ and volunteer. The only way to get to the Old Media is to get to their pocketbooks and their bottom lines. We need to let them know who holds the purse strings. Just don't forget - BE NICE! Don't give Ron Paul's campaign a bad name. LET'S DO THIS. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH THE MEDIA.

Poll: Does money make Ron Paul a player?

The latest edition of Election Projection's Weekly Poll is up. Yesterday, Ron Paul received almost $6 million in campaign contributions. That total is a one-day record, surpassing John Kerry's $5.7 million day back in 2004. How do you think his enormous fundraising (over $17 million so far this quarter alone) will impact the GOP primary season? The poll is located in the right sidebar. Please be sure to cast your vote.

Update: The poll has gotten links in a couple of Ron Paul forums and on Digg.com. As one might expect, it has skewed the results a bit. (To put it mildly!) That's ok with me - I like the increased traffic. A word to the Paulites - Welcome! Be sure to check back often once the election heats up. I'll be tracking all the major races next year. To see how I've done in the past, check out my 2004 and 2006 results.

I sent the owner of the website a positive e-mail thanking him for the welcome along with clarification of some of Dr. Paul's views (regarding the post he has later on down the page). Seems like a nice, albeit misguided, guy.
