We are up against the establishment. And no, I don't believe in conspiracy theories but this one is true. I've experienced it first-handed through our very own RP revolution.

The revolution will go on, mark my words!

While the Tea Party is the most important thing in the world to the hardcore RP supporters, it is so far down the list of importance to news editors it's likely to receive little if any coverage on the evening news.

There are a couple of Iraq stories today, the weather in the NE, McCain/Leiberman, The late night shows coming back on, etc.

As the MSM sees it, a overly enthusiastic bunch of RP supporters raised a lot of money again for a candidate who has no chance of winning.

I will ask you guys, if Alan Keyes held a rally and had 10,000 people show up or if Duncan Hunter raised a ton of money would you care?

10k is a lot, ton of money is also a lot. Yes, I would.

Then you are the polar opposite of a news editor. Events that happen in a campaign that don't effect the grand scheme of things are insignificant. So if Keyes had 10K people, or if Hunter raised 5Million it wouldn't make a dimes worth of difference on how the primaries turned out.

That's how they view events in the RP campaign. They see these things as the actions of a very small, but very vocal and fanatically devoted group of people. If RP had 15% or so in some national polls then it would definitly trump the McCain/Leiberman story, but since in their minds he is a non-factor the story is meaningless even if we raised 10 million yesterday.

Stupid MSM not covering a record breaking fund raising event in one of the most important elections in US history.

The real story is that this happened because of 60,000 people all coordinated over the internet to do this. Not to mention the 25k first time donors and the 120k individual contributors this quarter.

Screw the money, look at the amount of people coming out in droves to make this happen! All right under the MSM nose without any mainstream coordination. MSM is officially gone the way of the dodo and is plain for all to see.
