Have you ever noticed that as election day gets closer and closer the polls tend to show the candidates as closer and closer?

How does this happen? Were Bush supporters on the fence over whether or not they should vote for Kerry and vice versa? If there are the same amount of people who haven't decided yet, shouldn't they make their decisions proportional to the people who have already decided? If not, then is that initial slice of people who decided in the earlier polls truly representative of the national sentiment?

The media and the polls are almost a parody of themselves by doing the same thing each election. Who wants to bet that the days running up to the Iowa primaries the polls get "really close" between Romney and Huckabee setting things up for something that should be watched...

LOL, it is the only way they can generate any excitement for the candidates and distract from our man.

Our good doctor would be the only subject in town otherwise. :D

Even the timing of these silly endorsemnets seems designed to distract. <smile>
