If we could organize a single day that we will all participate in and stick to it religiously, We could send a strong message to the MSM, that we are a force to be reckoned with. It needs to be a high volume TV watching day that would get their attention. Would you give up watching TV on Super Bowl Day for Ron Paul?

Please give your most creative input on this subject.

Isn't it great how they have everyone mesmerized with the stupidest crap? All while the building is burning down around them.

Not watching the Superbowl won't change a damned thing. What, don't mess with the Super Bowl advertisers who are spending a gazillion dollars on TV ads that day? I would reconsider if they would allow the Ron Paul Blimp to do a flyover that day.

90 million people watch the Superbowl. Even if you convince 100,000 not to watch it, it will be insignificant. Even if you convince a million.

Michael Crichton, Black Sunday. is the parallel the MSM would draw.

You're a bunch of sheep wanting to watch football instead of supporting the cause. I'm ashamed to say I post here.

Actually I'm just an angry, disappointed Dolphins fan. But hey, at least we FINALLY WON A GAME! WOOOOO!

Chaos ensues TV Networks

February 5th: (AP)
Glendale, AZ - A decline of 30,000 Super Bowl viewers has sent all 3 Major Networks at an upheaval and utter chaos. With their confusion, one network executive mistakingly told one of his men to play a ron paul commerical repeatedly for 80 minutes during primetime tv coverage. The network's spokesman declined to speak with us.

I'll be doing it anyway. I work in the performing arts so no one watches sports anyway. It hacks me off because there is ALWAYS a rehearsal scheduled on Super Bowl Sunday and no one seems to care.

QFT

Not giving up the superbowl... sorry... especially if the Seahawks make it.

Not gunna happen, and to try and position yourself as anti-football, is a losing position to take.

I see. It isn't about principle, it is about what everyone else does.

Ridiculous, sorry this stupid crap keeps me from going insane. I'm sure you have a hobby or interest that someone else would think is stupid and you could use that time better putting the fire out.

Even if you could get 5 million people to not watch the super bowl it wouldn't make a difference. Not to mention the irony of using my time to watch what I want and being told its stupid and appearently I should be doing something else. Sounds more like someone jumped on a bandwagon not knowing where the hell its going.

Having a blimp flyover would be much more effective than a boycott on the NFL and whichever network is broadcasting for no apparent reason other than anger at it's news department.
