My brother posted this just recently.

He compared our revolution efforts to those people who have awakened in the Matrix (Matrix one, because it was way cooler than two or three, in a philosophical sense)

If you stretch it a bit, the parallels are there. The agents who try to quell the uprising, the brewing revolution, the masses under control, etc.

What do you guys think?

P.S. I'd like to take credit for convincing my brother to vote for Ron Paul :p

Total # of people converted so far: 3... still working on it

You can also see the parallels between the Revolution and "A Bug's Life." :p :)

I agree in the sense that the powers that be are quietly pacifying the masses with this fantasy called the American Dream. I believe that people with money and power are holding out vital knowledge that if dispensed throughout society freely and with out charge the world would enter a golden age almost overnight.

they cannot afford to have people know what they know. THEY CANNOT AFFORD IT!

"Wake up Neo"

Well, the matrix is certainly an analogy of our present world.

But keep in mind who's version of the story it is. Warner Bros. Entertainment ;)

I have been putting "Another 'Take the Red Pill' Production" on all my Youtube videos for quite some time.

It is like a cross of "The Matrix" and "They Live".

Also check out "Disturbed - Land of Confusion" on YouTube for a great music video.

My cousin has been saying he should have taken the blue pill ever since I introduced him to Ron Paul.

I like They Live better as an analogy of the proces of awakening.

The red pill represents the truth, whether it be what you want to hear or not
The blue pill is the status quo, and whatever else makes you feel secure

Is it possible to have a Matrix experience in a Matrix?

They did that in The Thirteenth Floor (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0139809/)
