From RP's main site. I assume it's Central Time! Even though I originally posted it as EST.

"Congressman Paul will be campaigning in Iowa today and will be holding a press conference at 12:45 pm at the Des Moines Marriott in the Des Moines Room. Members of the press are strongly encouraged to attend."

What Directv channel will carry this? I just don't trust the MSM channels and I don't want to miss it. Also add any none Directv channels for others too. Thanks.

finally on behalf of the official campaign!

The reason you're not seeing more press is because they're all waiting for the press conference. I bet around 6pm tonight there'll be a bit more celebration around here with the new media attention.

The Press Conference also gives them the ability to add to the story: "Oh, yeah, and we're also going to run a 30-minute TV Special in Iowa and launch a $10,000,000 ad blitz. Enjoy your day!"

I have an idea: you say thank you to Dr. Paul, he is sacrificing his time he could be spending with his family to run for President.

I was just going to make a thread about this as well. Does anybody know whether the press conference could be watched online? I just obtained high-speed Internet access. I would like to see the press conference live.

Thanks

Not to mention he essentially walked into the lions den alone at the beginning of this campaign... no one took him seriously, he was (and still is) the only one dissenting like a true patriot and speaking his mind, and they all laughed at him and called him names. Takes a lot of guts to do that.

Don't forget his wife, Carol...it must break her heart to see the way he has been treated by the media and phony 'conservatives'.

I'm also looking for a feed.

I have been a Ron Paul supporter since late July. Now that I have the high-speed access, I have been busy catching up on the RP videos available. My head is spinning.

Still looking to watch the press conference online.....................

Not speaking for Bradley here, but I think he was talking about Bydlak/Benton...not Ron Paul.

It takes a "leader" to do that.

Ok. I can't find anything that says 12:45 EST so I guess we should assume it would be central. Since it says
press conference at 12:45 pm at the Des Moines Marriott in the Des Moines Room. I apologize for my mistake.

I didn't think about the time zone either. I'll not only keep looking for a link to the press conference but also keep checking back here in case someone finds something.

Didn't they do a press conference on http://justin.tv/ronpaul the day after the Nov 5 money bomb? Would rock if they continue to use that medium.

Seems to me, Paul is far from being ungrateful:

I could spend all my time thanking personally you and everyone who has done so much for our country's future, and not scratch the surface of what justice demands. But I want you to know how much I owe you, and everyone dedicated to the real America. You and I know our real country -- the America of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, of economic, civil, and personal liberty, of strong families and communities, of great businesses and professions, of strong peace and low taxes and sound money-all of which are under assault by the politicians who occupy our nation's capital.
